The owner of this establishment helped us get taxi's to other areas in Cambodia, he was extremely helpful, and friendly. The food was good enough to come back for, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.

Went here off of recommendation in our guide book. Had pizza (very good), pad thai (ok), beer (great at 75c) and a cosmopolitan (very poor). Biggest problem was having to look at some guy (westerner) literally trawling through the contents of bags and bags of garbage just up the street during the entire meal. He was still at it when... As we somehow ended up in horrible lodgings in the vicinity, we at least wanted to find a ‘nice place’ to eat and this restaurant fitted the bill perfectly. The huge upstairs balcony gave us the chance to observe lively 172nd Street while offering privacy in a romantic setting. The service was excellent, staff very friendly and the meal one... More

Didn't stay at the guesthouse but the wood fire pizza was the best we've had in the country. Great prices, great staff, and great atmosphere. Extra happy doesn't disappoint either for those that are into that sort of thing.

We found the laughing Fatman on a website, for places to eat food in Cambodia- Phnom Penh. This popped up, it sounded great and the name definitely caught my eye.we arrived and practically had the restaurant to ourselves as it was fairly early evening. We ordered and the foot arrived. It was delicious!!! So much going food for such little... More

Good food, but too much noice with musique for young people , from morning to evening : if you are tired, impossible to have a good sleep. Others bars in the street without 4 floors steps.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hostel. The prices don't seem to vary much along this street of hostels, but whereas we found the other ones quite bad, here you actually get something for your money! The rooms are big and spacious. You can choose whether you want to get the room with AC or just a fan (in... More

Friendly atmosphere, decent food, reasonable prices. No complaints about the bar. But nothing that made it stands out amongst all the other tourist bars either.

Good food and drink at this casual, lively restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the service was good. We had our first taste of traditional Cambodian food, Amok, but there were many Western choices of the menu. It is also a special treat if you meet the restaurant's namesake, The Laughing Fat Man.

Had a tasty grilled fish with cream sauce for $6, last time had a chicken schnitzel burger with a generous two layers of meat. Wednesday is $2 night with a simple menu and wine by the glass at that price. Access is off a side street, most tables upstairs.

Busy bar/restaurant in a busy street behind the museum and the river. We have an extensive menu of both asian and European food, also pizza's and burgers. Late night we have a vibrant crowd with great music and a great atmosphere. We also have an extensive Cocktail menu at the most competitive prices in Phnom Penh.
