Was told by a work colleague about the Sunday roast in this restaurant. Have to say it was delicious. I opted for beef. On the plate was a very generous portion of meat with the usual roast potatoes, etc. Only thing missing was Yorkshire pudding. Will certainly go back again.

This little place is heaven! Great roast dinners a little touch of western food a great change from Asian. Staff really pleasant and welcoming. Great prices on spirits a must place to visit on the riverside far better than those right on the front. Good home style western comfort pub grub.

This is a very good restaurant that specializes in British fare. The roast beef, roast pork and roast chicken Sunday lunches are very popular. At other times the steaks, pies, sausage rolls are a good choice. The breakfasts are a touch of home and if that is not enough you can even get a bacon butty. If you need a... More

Been around for a long time, sun shoulda set here a long time ago. Food is not good. Chairs are uncomfortable. This place exists only because it's been around for awhile. Nostalgia.

British cuisine that varies in quality and availability. This last visit, the sausages and savoury pies were quite good, but tomorrow they might not be! Usually frequented by the same men who are friends with the owner.

serves great pub food in decent quantity. Breakfast also good. But woeful coffee. The coffee is not worth the water that carries it. It is actually a real let down and the reason I don't go any more (I used to go a lot). How hard can it be to get a half decent coffee machine in there and train... More

Loved the food and service here. Visited iseveral times just for drinks but also food. Steak was great and so much of it I couldn't finish it. Nice chips- a relief as I was sick of French fries that seems to be served everywhere else. Roast beef was lovely and definitely recommend. We ate late on the Sunday so they... More
