We visited FCC after a long flight, our hotel receptionist recommend. We were starving so blindly walked into the first restaurant. The view was nice but that was it. Staff were unfriendly, service slow and food was extortionate. The food was bad quality, they charge over three dollars for a beer, walk a couple doors down and you will get... More

Head to second floor terrace for scenic Tonle Sap river view while sipping your wine. Good food. Try the grilled beef (beef tiger or something like that) Good crowd most evenings. Good place to networking as well.

Stopped in for lunch on a hot afternoon and enjoyed the view and a couple of cold beers while waiting for our food. The Crying Tiger beef and the Amok fish curry were pretty good as was the calamari. Probably not cheap for Cambodia, but food surprised us and worth the stop if near. Having said that the building appears... More

Without a doubt a tourist trap of sorts. Obviously popular with expats and people wanting a sense of history. Fair selection of posers for sure but they get everywhere. Some great pictures on the wall. Not sure how much of original fittings survive. Pleasant enough place. Good selection of food and drinks. Maybe more expensive than some places but by... More

Went to FCC with high expectations of a Colony style experience of a bygone era. What we found was a great building in a great location overlooking river, but what we also found was poor service expensive mediocre food and a tour groups being brought in for a set meal and photo opportunity All very disappointing as rest of time... Your review is appreciated. Thanks to its unique history, FCC is a landmark in Phnom Penh nowadays. Three of us had lunch in their 1st floor restaurant overlooking the Tonle Sap River. It is an iconic 'colonial' building with interesting photos, so worth a visit. I chose fishcakes, which were delicious, with fresh coconut to drink.

I very much enjoy the FCC. This is the former Foreign Correspondence Club. Lots of history here. A great view over the Sap and Mekong Rivers. Open air looking out over the Rivers. Great selection of food and coffee. The price is a little spendy for those of us who live in Cambodia but okay for tourists who come comparing... More

Three floors and great views for the top - happy hours are 5pm - 7pm so best time to go is around then. The food is also great but a little over the average price.

The decor is awesome, the service is excelent, but the result is not to the expectation...i was surprized with the bill, it's certainly not worth the 10 dollars i spended for a Pizza Marguerita and a mineral water, it could be improved, the concurrence is rude!....

Thank Juan H

FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
