Beautiful colonial building with views on both the river and the royal palace. It breathes the post Pol Pot atmosphere. Apart from the references to the liberation of Cambodia, there is also an exhibition of great photo’s. The place is really worth a visit. And of course you can have a beer or a meal here. A little more expensive... More

The place is in one of the hot spots of Phnom Penh, certainly worth stopping by to enjoy the river view. Unfortunately staff takes bit too much time to deliver orders.

Worse service experienced in the whole of indochina. Not a restaurant but a bar. Nearly 2 hours to get any food. Multiple request just to get a drink. Service was awful and staff did not seem to care. If the venue was short of staff due to Khmer new year then they should not have allowed so many people to... More

So glad we went for lunch rather than dinner as it has quite a dark and dreary feel, which works during the day when it's hot and you are able to sit and watch the world go by on the river outside, the view from our table was excellent. The food was actually surprisingly good but service was slow, considering... More

Absolutely entranced with FCC - so much so we had to visit FCC in Siem Reap too!! I was totally intrigued with the history and imagined myself being there not so many years ago in a very different scenario. Drinks were super and the terraces are great for people watching. Might be a little overpriced but a good happy hour... More

We sat up on the top floor and had some beer and a pizza. This is a good place to watch the city go by and to think about its history. The next night we went across the road and while the viewing was good, the pizzas were disappointing.

This is a very interesting place with some very good views from the top floor. But to get up there are a good many steps to climb. There is a good selection of beers, wines and other drinks and a good selection of foods available on the menu. BUT the service is terrible. It took an eternity for our food... More

Interesting to sit where journalists sat, discussed and manually typed their news reports during the Cambodia Pol Pot dark days. First hand descriptions of genercide were penned here. Now you can reflect on these times while enjoying a meal or a drink before moving off somewhere else. 2 levels of balcony views of the riverside road are always at a... More

Went there twice over a weekend after reading many reviews about it. First visit was for sundowners and we sat at the rooftop facing the Sisowath Quay - the view was fantastic, just watching the world go by and enjoying the evening breeze. Second visit was for dinner + drinks and we were not disappointed. Food was fantastic and service... More

Loved this place. Location is great. Rooms are massive. Bathrooms also. AC works very well. Restaurant is very good with a popular happy hour. You have to search a little on their website, but you can score a room for a reasonable price.

Description
FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
