We decided to treat ourselves to the "High Tea", The High Tea items were about average for a high tea - unfortunately the experience was terrible!!! We had booked a table, the staff didn't seem to even expect "any" customers. Most of the tables were...not set, they staff weren't helpful or interested - the overwhelming feeling we got was that we were getting in the way of their quiet time. Those staff who were "working" were setting tables for the evening dinner and weren't interested in us. At every stage we had to "fetch" staff to look after our needs, take orders, serve us and we even had to go and find them to come and take our bill! Living in Phnom Penh and having talked to others in the city - unfortunately this seems to be the normal. The common comment is that the "High Tea" service is very poor. Very sad given the image that Khema tries to portray. High Tea? Give it a miss and go somewhere else.More

Thank goodness there are two Khema restaurants in the city. The one on Pasteur was booked solid so we got the maitre d to call the other restaurant by the post office and reserve a table for us. We got a great table by the...window (with the iconic post office building in view). However, that's when the waiting began. After about fifteen minutes, our orders were taken: 2 mains, juice and coffee. After another fifteen minutes I asked about the coffee. Ten minutes later we got the coffee and I asked about the juice. Fifteen minutes later the juice arrived and I asked about the food. I was told it was about to come out. Since we were there for the free-flow breakfast at $14 pax, we ordered our second selection as well as coffees and more juice. It took about a half an hour for an order to come out on average. So, it's ridiculously slow, but it is charming and feels classy. Even the WC is fancy. The food was scrumptious and well plated. The shrimp in the "Kuy Teav" were dodgy and couldn't be eaten. We found it better to stick with western breakfast options. We'll be back, I'm sure, but we will probably bring a book or go before we are hungry.More

We went for the Free Flow Lunch to celebrate a family occasion (wedding anniversary). The online reservation on their website was easy to use and the reservation confirmation was immediate. The Free Flow Lunch menu consisted of a variety of vegetarian and meat (poultry, fish)...dishes as well as pasta. The pumpkin soup was simply delicious and so were the mains. As there were 4 of us, we tried all the options. Dessert was also a delight, especially the choice of cakes. A pleasant surprise was a Happy Anniversary dessert from the restaurant. All in, a memorable and meaningful family experience.More

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you feel you will be well taken care of. The place is immaculate, the staff are very welcoming and attentive... I have visited Khema a number of times for the Lunch Buffet which is truly excellent value for...money. 14 dollars allows you to chose from four starters, four main courses and desserts and coffee. Last time I went I had the fish carpaccio, leek salad, terrines and quiche for starters. As a main course, I chose fried fish (I forget the name of it, sorry) on a bed of spinach. I asked what they had for dessert and I was shown to the display case of the Khema bakery where I could chose from about 7 or 8 cakes... I chose something divine with chocolate... Add your drinks and you walk out paying less than 20 dollars and you have been regaled with delicious food prepared with quality ingredients... Khema La Poste is one of my go to places, I have never been disappointed and I recommend it highly...More

We thought we would just order a-la-carte but the all you can eat drinks and food for $11.90 seemed a bargain so we opted for that. The quality of the food is fabulous, coffee is good and their juices are beautiful. We had museli, their...home made yoghurt (was absolutely yummy) a chocolate pastry, mango juice, coffees and our main breakfasts. Could not fault a thing the eggs benedict were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise was lovely and tasty. My husband opted for the English breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed as well, two eggs, ham, baked beans, black pudding, potato...sooo good! All served with a complimentary basket of gorgeous baguette. Their mango juice was the real deal and was nearly a meal in itself. We would highly recommend and will definitely come back.More
