We went for breakfast, food good nice ambience. If you have a set breakfast, the Depardieu for example you may get more than you need. One of us had the set and shared the croissant, toast and jam. Another had poached eggs which were a little cold but they like to serve everything at once so some plates may cool.... More

Comfortable casual dining for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee hour, etc. either outside or "inside" (which opens onto the terrace out front). Good service - they're attentive, you kick back and relax. For a small, casual dining menu, International/French, they have a great deal to offer. I had the chicken wrap at a business lunch - chunks of grilled chicken... More

I have been going here for years, and it never disappoints. The service is attentive and very polite. The food good and genuine. I would recommend this cafe.

If you're looking for Khmer food, not the best option. However, if you just want wholesome, delicious, healthy food not far from the Royal Palace, this is a great place. It also has a very nice selection of vegetarian options.

We were delighted to find that our favourite bakery in Phnom Penh is even better than we remembered. It's still baking great bread and producing amazing cakes, and the drinks are very refreshing.

So this is in the trendy 240 street block - it has a few shops and restaurants on a narrow street with lots of trees - a cool area by local standards. The cafe has a great space with a nice alfresco section at the front - inside is very cool with a good vibe. Food was good - duck... More

Great atmosphere, great mediterranean food and friendly staff. There's a library and a small adjoining bookshop next door with international books, pencils and paper.

I really enjoyed the attentive service. It seemed popular with expats which is a good sign of a good eatery.

Food is Ok, edible but I would not recommend the falafel, which is very dry and falls apart. Bread tends to fall apart on sandwiches. Food is kind of expensive for what you get. However they do have a variety of baked goods every day and are willing to deliver to the ECCC, which many places aren't willing to do.... More

Description
The Shop 240 is located on tree-lined Street 240 near the Royal Palace, it was our first outlet when we started in 2001 and it remains hugely popular. This colonial-era house has a peaceful patio out front, a wood-floored dining area inside, and a leafy eating area out back. Ceiling fans keep things cool, and a fresh supply of free newspapers in this oasis keeps our customers up to date with world events as they enjoy our Mediterranean-inspired menu. We have other The Shop locations on Street 102 and Street 337 in Toul Kork as well as The Chocolate Shop locations on Street 240 and Street 63.
