Samdado has been one of the oldest Korean restaurant in Dhaka, it was my favourite place to go for sushi when I was young. Went there few days back, I was soo disappointed! The food quality has become so bad. They served sushi that must have been made hours before. Their infamous teriyaki had smell of raw chicken. Their salads... More

The restaurant it is a bit old but the food is nice. This is not the max you can find in Dhaka. A place with no big expectations.

Fail 1: Kept calling to reserve a table but the phone went unanswered. Fail 2:Upon arrival, the waiter just pointed up the stairs n didn't bother to show us to our tables Fail 3: The food was nowhere close to Japanese or Korean cuisine. Order gyouza at your own risk...you've been warned. The only positive bit is that they have... More

Nice restaurant just opposite the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Gulshan 2. The Bento box combinations are great.

I landed in Dhaka this evening on a business trip and met up with a former classmate after 43 years. He now lives in Dhaka and took me for dinner to Samdado. The restaurant is in Gulshan and in a one storey house. The ground floor has a large dining room with smaller rooms upstairs. A nice decor and a... More

Samdado is one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in Dhaka. The place is located in Gulshan and has its own parking place so if you are driving there be sure to park inside its premise. The ambience of the place is average and nothing to write home about. The place offers a wide range of Japanese food. Overall, the food... More

We had vegetable rice and teriyaki, one of us snapper and the other beef. Prompt and friendly service. They take credit cards but you have to pay 200 taka of the bill in cash
