Their waiters are not at all service oriented. Does not even know how to serve a family. Terrible service for such a high end restaurant.
They acted very rudely against an infant in a restaurant. The restaurant does not tolerate usual infant tantrums.
The service level is too low for the price they are charging their customers for. Seemed like the waiters are were working their unwillingly and does not have the hospitable mentality, probably needs more training if the restaurant wants to keep charging people with service charge and high prices for food.

I ordered Grilled Lamb Chops which costed 2,950tk, believing it was gonna be good. Yes it did look good but was actually terrible. 90% of the meat was fat and nothing to eat. Source was not good either. I could not believe such restaurant like Bistro E served this poor quality food. I tried their blue cheese burger and bruschetta earlier and they were nice but lamb chops were such a disappointment. It doesn't justify the price at all. Never try it.

Very good. Well decorated, good environment, and the food is great. Once you sit there and look outside then we will feel as if you were somewhere out of Bangladesh.

it's the most beautiful cafe of dhaka yet, i never found the food mouth watering...in fact, no taste. the pastries are called made by french chef which is not true. it's all bangladeshi though which is fine as long as the food tastes good.

Being upstairs in an area known for offices and embassies, I would guess that this restaurant is beyond busy at lunch time. We went for an early, mid-week dinner, and enjoyed extra attention from the dedicated waiters. We were leaving as most guests were arriving. Their menu is not extensive, but it presents a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian. Food was well prepared and quickly served, and my colleague and I were highly pleased with the quality and taste of our meals. The desserts were also stupendous!

Went here couple of times recently and was perfect for coffee or light meal for business. meetings. Well located in modern setting with good service and food. Calm and professional atmosphere.

With high expectation we entered Bistro E where we had a reservation, but given a inappropriate table near the counter 1. Toilets very difficult to find, hidden somewhere 2 levels below. 2. Service from waiting staff poor and not friendly or welcoming. 3. Geared to service Europeans rather then locals or Asians. 4. Soup and main arrived same time. 5. I had steak that was supposed to be medium rare, what I got was medium, tasteless piece of leather, meat had been dosed with sweet sauce, never had steak that has already been coated with a sweet sauce, terrible..the accompanying sa
uces were inedible and stale. The couscous was hard and not prepared correctly. Not one time did any staff attend or asked about the food or service we just recieved, even when it was obvious we were questioning to each other the steak and sauces. Certainly wouldn't recommend this Bistro E, cause its not Bistro A class, more like Bistro Z class..

If you are craving for some authentic italian choices in Dhaka, you can try Bistro E. You will not be disappointed. They have both veg and non-veg menu options. Steak is one of the best in town.

Took out some family time and decided to check this place out as recommended by my nephew Zane.
It's located in the very chic and modern EDGE by Bay.
Parking is available in the basement.
The ambience of the restaurant is very cozy and friendly. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. We ordered appetizers first : Bruschetta, Ceasar Salad and Salt and pepper squid. All were good but the squid was exceptional. it was fewsha d not robbery like aimee places. The accompanying tartar sauce was delicious. Ordered a second time !
For mains courses, we ordered steak. my medium came out just right. Do not add the mushroom sauce on the steak. It will ruin the flavor. My wife's chicken parmigiana was sadly, dry and needed sauce. A good suggestion would be to serve it with some sort of pasta or spaghetti which is what most places usually do.
We finished the meal off with Oreo cheesecake, brownie and ice cream and concluded the evening with lattes.
Overall a good experience.

Nice fresh food. Not a big menu but enough to enjoy the time. A bit price but sufficient quantity. The interior is nicely suited to pass good time with friends and family
