Very nice little cafe on the corner of the bridge by the river. The staff are very nice and the ambience of the restaurant is good too. I ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce and this was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. It’s a little more expensive than some places in Dhaka but it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

Extremely Tastefully done up Cafe right in the edge of Banani and Gulshan. Obviously it is an upmarket cafe but it doesn't just disappoint us from any angle. Good coffee, great cafe food but what steals the show is the variety of Misthi ( Sweets) sourced from all parts of Bangladesh and sold under one roof.
Check out their Museum style display of the sweets says a lot about the Art of Sweet making in this part of the world also creating a certain kind of of pull towards them all.
A must visit place in Dhaka.

Really nice venue - great for a local breakfast.
Staff are really friendly and go out of their way to present artwork in the foam of your cappuccino!
Very generous portions of the local breakfast - and well priced.
Plenty of power points if you need to catch up on work or just recharge your phone!

a most delicious iced coffee - in a beautiful light space with water running besides the restaurant and great WIFI. But the best is the glass cabinet filled with sweets - fantastic.

This one seems to have it all, a very friendly ambience and tastefully designed interior. As its right next to the lake the view is very good.
It’s a modern uptake of Bengali street food but that’s not the whole story. The cafe has an entire display (which looks like a art gallery or museum) of traditional sweet meats throughout Bangladesh.
So each specific sweet is placed in the middle of the cafe in Perspex boxes with a description of its origins. This puts the cafe on another level - well done!
However the cafe deprived themselves of getting 5 stars from me simply because they had a health inspector visit at the same time as our visit.
We had to wait a long time for our food, drinks and coffees, for me these are cardinal sins and perhaps I’ll have a better experience the next time I go.

Real enjoyable interior design, limited food options, helpful waiter , sweets options are nostalgic. Food tastes are good. It is really enjoyable at night. Who ever design the interior, done it smartly. Shall visit again.
