I ate here twice while staying in Banani, Dhaka. I am an English speaker, but fortunately the menus are in English and Bengali and the selection of food was good. There was a range of meat and vegetable curries along with rice and bread.
The food came after about 10 minutes and seemed freshly cooked. The whole place was clean and really nicely decorated. the waiters spoke English and made some recommendations for me.
I was travelling alone on business and felt entirely comfortable eating here.
I will definitely come back, and recommend this to others. The restaurant was moderately full with, it, seemed to me, a mixture of local and expats.
I paid 1000 taka for a lamb curry, mixed vegetables, rice, a paratha and a sprite. That is under ÂŁ8 and very good value for a nice unhurried restaurant.

The food taste is 10 out 10. Great variety of food. We simply loved the desi food since we are resident in New York and not too many desi local food option is there.
It would be much convenient for the customers if paturi mention on their webpage / menu that it takes 40 minutes to serve the food after placing the order. People who are in rush or extremely hungry may chose other place to eat Paturi may also promote , phone order in that way the food can be served in 10/15 min time after arrival. Overall experience is good. I would love to visit it again.

Had local friends who took us out for dinner to get a taste of the local cuisine. There was a lot of variety in meats, fish and prawns served with rice and paratha. Most of the food was spicy and i avoided it but there were at least threee dishes that were not that i enjoyed. The banana leaf wrapped prawns were unique.

Horrible food. Especially for vegetarians. They project themselves as an upmarket restaurant but the staff quality is poor who can’t understand basic instructions in the food preparation. Vegetarian curries we’re just boiled vegetable in broth. Literally! No gravy. Overall the experience was a one star and that’s being kind

Bangladeshi cuisine being served in such a lavish restaurant is not that common. A lavish duplex has been turned into this. Holiday Lunch is suggested. You should enjoy your favourite after meal tea sitting at the small patio. Food is tasty. service is good. Parking is available. Just relax and indulge!

Visited 3 days back 1st time after it moved to this new location. New location seems to have much less space than before and is found less cozy. However, the food is still good if not that excellent. The staffs are gentle and nice.

We made a reservation for a business diner for 5 persons. 15 minutes before the dinner, they called us to cancel the dinner without giving any explanation. Non professional at all.

Visited with colleagues. Internal decor looks like a n art gallery with painting and drawing on the wall.
We ordered a selection of mutton, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes with boiled rice and parathas. Food was lovely - the fish all wrapped up was delicious.
We topped it off with Masala tea.
Service attentive and very good.

Patri is a specialized Bengali fine dine at Dhaka. Although this is a Bengali restaurant but the price is much higher. The serving quantity is 1:1 for most of the items.
The cost is worthy by the tast. You should try only Bengali Cuisines here. The items marked * should be ordered one day before.
The restaurant is located at 3 stored residential building. They have nice garden and parking place outside. On 1st two floor they server food. You will enjoy mostly at 1st floor dinning.

There is not one single restaurant in Dhaka that I can compare to this.
Food is literally finger licking good. Each item is more delicious then the next. Specially their fish and paturi is to die for.
Great service. Location is amazing too with a big backyard, cozy and artsy decoration, I didn’t find a single thing to complain about.

Expensive but great food interesting setup of a house converted into a restaurant . The staff is very welcoming and one place where I found wheat flour chappatis. Made fresh and therefore one needs to have the patience as well
