The Sirvanshah Museum Restaurant is a very beautifull location with a great atmosphere. Really worth a visit by itself. Our waiter in our separate room was positive and enthusiastic. Our traditional starters came as ordered and were really good. But then came the main dishes........We were 7 people with seven different dishes. really poor quality and very little food. We looked at each other and shook our heads. I felt sorry for the skinny chicken who probably starved to death. The Sirvanshah Museum Restaurant is a very beautifull location and it could have been such a great experience. I would love to bring friends and business contacts there, but i will not due to the poor food, and that is sad.More

Had a trip in Baku, and occasionally decided to visit this place. This place is worth seeing and popular among locals, so take care about your reservations. Be ready so spend your time seeing the exposition of really "museum" of citizen life in Baku. it...makes a complete delight. For the food - what we tasted was really nice, like a "high cuisine" of local dishes. for the service - it might take longer than expected (too big distance from table to kitchen :)) , but you can enjoy watching the exposition during waiting. Be ready for a little bit bigger cheque, if compared to most of the restaurants in the tourist area.More

Horrible experience. Very bad staff who don’t know English. Not much vegetarian options at all. Had to wait 45 min to get water that also after reminding several times. Soup came which was very bad taste and stale breads. Very loud music which did not...get reduced even after telling the manager. Finally we decided to leave without eating anything and instead of apologizing they brought the bill for full order which had not even come to our table and asked us to pay. We paid it as just wanted to get out from there. Horrible experience, rude staff and will not recommend anyone to go there and spoil their day.More

Cold food, stale bread and an unhappy waiter. Best to avoid this place. The one staff member who spoke English was great and tried to accomodate us as much as possible, but unfortunately not much could cover the terrible quality, taste and temperature of all...5 dishes we ordered.More

It was bad! Slow, cold and bartender was away so you cannot get a coffee for breakfast. These guys are joke. They do not even worth the time spent for this couple lines of review… Hope they go belly up asap.

Place is spectacular like a museum. Food selection is wide but taste was not always delicious. To my opinion in such restaurant it must be a great. Nice live music and show offered during evening time. Service is very decisive but I did not expect...much more from no name local restaurant. Such places you can visit only once in your live only for tick.More

The restaurant staff is very friendly. Food s amazing, the overall atmosphere is great. There is a lot of history. I recommend to take the small tour offered by the restaurant staff. It is free of cost but i recommend that tips should be given...to the person. If you wish to eat Shah Plov then give around 1 hour for its preparation. The fresh juices were also great. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Baku.More

You’d forget the fact that this is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants you’d go to because they are in a business of sucking money out of you. They’ll recommend you have disproportionate amount of food-dishes which are the most expensive on the menu!...To top it off they don’t even have the courtesy to give you a hard copy of the bill. P.S. they even charge for the stale, read rubber like, bread which every other restaurant in Azerbaijan provides for free.More

Bright star for the chef. Food was great. Same star for musicians. Truly skillful. Neither can be said about the service. Historical surroundings to get treated like garbage They really don't like successful, independent women who are hungry in this place. Got a table and...a menu thrown, was seriously like what on earth.. didn't get any service for good fifteen minutes. Only when I asked loudly someone reluctantly came. Got my food... Wanted a much needed another glass of wine after the way I got treated. They had like ten waiters and butler. Not one would serve me. Another fifteen minutes. No apologies, no nice words, a smile would've been unheard-of.. Really. The food is great but bring your inflatable husband or put an eggplant in your pants. Raw or cooked, whatever but God forbid don't be a woman and bring your own money. Dirty dishes left on the table, couldn't even get a check. Had to walk to the reception. I don't think I ever got treated this bad in a restaurant. For the record I was dressed nice and modest, black long skirt and pink cardigan, my hair was braided nicely and I just came from the city retreat spa, so I smelled really nice. It was not like I looked homeless or poor.More

Would you like to eat like the street cats of Baku? If yes, you’ve come to the right place. You will be completely satisfied if you enjoy fried chicken bones without meat and cold vegetables on the side. Obviously I’m joking, you will not enjoy...the disgusting food here. This is literally the worst chicken I’ve had in my life, and I got food poisoning from chicken in India several times. I would get food poisoning once again rather than try to eat the dry chicken bones at this resturant. Not even the street cats would like this food. They would most likely leave the food in the trash; where it belongs.More

We ordered chicken wings and vegetables. There was almost no meet on the chicken (basically fried bones) and the vegetables were completely cold. When we asked to speak with the manager if we could get compensated in any manner we were met with a sarcastic...attitude and not accommodated in any way. The food was not eatable and we left still hungry. Would not recommend at all.More

We went there for a large party, so couldn't order a la carte, but the food that was served was excellent. Meats and salads were great. One downfall was the service was super slow and it would take forever to either get something off the...table or on it, so the clutter was significant. The restaurant is gorgeous with multiple rooms that are all different, so it is like a museum. Would try it out as a regular dinner next time.More
