This restaurant situated very close to the busy street Komitas, offers a wide variety of Middle Eastern foods. The food is amazing, specially the grilled chicken. The owner is really friendly and the waiters are very helpful. The service is fast. The place was very...clean.More

The service is awfully slow, the food isn't that tasty too, they took 30 min to prepare something and it wasn't even hot you can directly identify that it was frozen. Would definitely not recommend to anyone after there is not an even welcoming face...from the door to the seatsMore

We were taken by our guide to this restaurant to try some delicious Lebanese dishes at reasonable prices. We found that there are no real Lebanese main dishes apart from the salads. Again, similar to Babylon Restaurant, we were overcharged by adding dishes to our...bill that we did not have or order. Checking with the cashier, we found some others complaining of the same issue. The same food you buy from this restaurant can be bought for half the price somewhere else. Be careful to read your bill before paying in this restaurant and Babylon Restaurant in Yerevan.More

It was wonderful to find a good Syrian Restaurant here in Yerevan. Expected the quality of service to be a slow as i happened to have read the reviews of the restaurant but i was surpirised to get my food pretty quick. Atmosphere is pretty...wonderful. Had chicken and some kebabs for the meal and both of these were very tasty.More

I visited this restaurant tonight on the recommendation of my friend. Little did I know that a gastronomic surprise was just around the corner of Komitas Avenue. From the outside of the restaurant, I was thinking of regular Syrian fare. The board hanging outside proudly...declared that the restaurant was found in 1946. Once seated, we were welcomed pleasantly by the waitresses. The order was taken down in a jiffy. The ambience was bright and cheerful. People were sitting around with friends and family, and definitely were having a good time. Nargile (hookahs) were available all around. Nargile derives from the Persian word nārghile, meaning coconut, which in turn is from the Sanskrit word nārikel. I came to know that the tobacco were brought from eastern countries. Exotic indeed! Aromas were different and prices were great. And a guy was changing the burning coal on the hookahs at regular intervals. We had heard beforehand that the Shish Tauk (Chicken Kebab) was the best of the lot. Little did we know that it would be so fulfilling. So our initial order comprised of Shish Tauk, Chicken Nuggets and French fries, Houmus, Shaurma sandwich and Apple Juice. We were eager to know about the lamb delicacies and a friendly Syrian Armenian guy (guess he was the owner cum manager) turned up. He guided us efficiently through the menu but we decided to try it another day. The food arrived shortly. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was not too spicy and oily. Houmus topped with olive oil was a good appetizer. The fries were crispy. The Shaurma sandwich was juicy and evenly grilled. In a word, this is the best Syrian food you can have in Yerevan. At the end, our Syrian friend sent us a complimentary chocolate cake. And really, this turned out to be the icing on the cake. Personal touches like these to guests who have visited your restaurant for the first time make you stand amongst the crowd. And this persuades you pleasantly to come back again and again. Before leaving, we thanked him for the wonderful food and services he provided us with. And then we left, leaving with a contended mind, full tummy and happy heart, as goes the Spanish proverb “Barriga llena, corazón contento” (full stomach, happy heart). Highly recommended to everyone visiting Yerevan.More
