Small gathering between friends luckily was not that ruined!
SERVICE: We called a week earlier to reserve a cabin (requested the best possible as we had friends coming from France).
Once we arrived the cabin was newly renovated and there was a horrible paint odor...inside. We had to open all the windows and doors. The servers were not educated and rude, but I cannot skip the pleasant fact that she helped us to order less food than we planned as she let us know that it might be too much.
I don't want even to speak about the uniform and the manner of communication of the servers. This locations deserves a better service. Not acceptable at all.
FOOD: We ordered armenian traditional Khash! It was not that goof neither that bad. Overall, the worst thing about that Khash was that they put butter on top of it so it will seam like a real traditional one which is oily by itself with no extra oil or butter.
The appetizers were very good, just as traditional armenian appetizers are meant to be.
Luckily as we were among friends the time passed amd we spent an amazing day!More
Visited the place today with family and guests. Nobody welcomed us and it was not easy to find someone who would show us the table I had booked.
We asked to bring beverages and a cover asap as it was cold, then to bring the...food. They brought everything very slowly and the covers were brought 40!!! minutes later.
The food was nice and tasty.
At the end I got a bill with TWO bottles of wine, dispite we had had just ONE bottle. I checked the bill and complained and the waitress said that she was about to tell me about that (only after 2-3 minutes waiting and looking at me silentely). They removed the wine from the bill but....
CHEATERS!!! NOT RECOMENDED!!!More
I was there as a wedding guest for a good friend so I was able to see beyond what most guests did.
The place is beautiful, with the hall and the moat around it a stunning background. There were many areas to discover and I...wished I had time to walk around.
The band was good but the technical team behind it was not very good. I am not sure if they were part of the venue but they were a struggle to work with.
The food was good but I have had better, to be honest. The khorovats, which were supposed to be the highlight of the event, were somewhat dry, but then that is not unusual when cooking for large groups of people. The best dish for me was the grilled sterlet... it stayed moist and flavorful...but it was sent out so late and most guests were already full.
Service was a bit lacking, which was a surprise for me because I usually had good service in Armenia. For example, some of us in the table did not have glasses and it took me, in particular, 3 tries for the waiters to understand that I was not able to get a single drink being served because I did not have glasses. The drinks situation as confusing because the waiters served only half the table starting around the main course.
Hopefully I can give this beautiful venue another try but as a diner and not an event guest.More
Place: Beautiful place located close to Yerevan. Basically, this Restaurant is built in a big park: there is a lot of green, nice small rivers, and cozy rooms for anyone who wants to dine privately.
Food: I mean, I am no khash expert or extreme...khash fan, but Tsiranis khash has to be one of the best I have ever tried. I am not sure what is the secret but it tasted very smooth and delicious. Next couple of days after my visit I was bragging about their khash to my friends. lol. We also tried their pakhlava afterwards with tea, again yummy stuff. Definitely, recommend.
Service: Just a regular Armenian standard service, no rudeness no problems at all. The guy who served us was actually very nice.
Tips: No tips for this one, just add a lot of salt and garlic in your khash and go to sleep after you done eating.More

Thank you fr your nice review. We're glad to hear that you liked our restaurant.
Hope to see you more often in our restaurant!
We went, 11 of us as a group of friends, to this wonderful place situated just outside of Yerevan, for a late dinner.
Everything we ordered, from entrées, main course, dessert and coffee, was delicious including the home-made bread.
The restaurant and it's individual gazebo...like eating corners are situated on a huge garden estate surrounded with apricots trees.
We are convinced that the view is more impressive in daylight (perhaps next time...)

I must say we did not see any cats anywhere when we were there and I would be surprised if any were allowed in as very professionally run place. Having said that in general it is quite common in smaller outside restaurants in Yerevan that cats are around.
We don't like them either!!
