We picked a table inside since outside was very hot, aside from the fact that it was fully booked. Inside is nice. Selection of wines is probably the biggest in Armenia. Staff is very helpful but very busy. The bar was packed and people were...having fun. We took one Armenian and one French wine and two boards with cheese and meats. Olives were delicious too. It seems that staff knows everything about the wines they sell. Vey impressive. we had a beautiful evening. Thanks!More

We really enjoyed sitting outside, watching the people mooch past as the weather cooled off as we drank our way through a variety of Armenian wines - the staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about their offerings. Huge variety of wines, and decent cheese and...charcuterie to munch on. Prices by Western standards are cheap and great value. Book a table to avoid any disappointment as it is rightly busy in the evenings.More

A charming place at the heart of Yerevan. We’ve visited together with a friend. Victoria helped us to sparkle the evening and suggested a set of wines, I personally enjoyed her choice of white Armenian wines as it was interesting to taste it. If it...were not for many tourists, I would definitely recommend the place) Still even with them it’s cosy and has a good selection of wines.More

I don’t see the buzz behind this place, as last night I ordered a glass of dry Armenian wine…. No menu so trusted the waiter. Wine was mediocre, I didn’t finish it. Cheese plate was fine but have had more exciting plates. Yes there is...a humongous wine selection inside but prices definitely reflect the bougie environment.More

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you didn't have a positive experience. Please allow me to explain. All our wines are selected by an independent panel of wine specialists. This way we try to avoid offering mediocre wines. We don't have a...More

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in recommending wines, also found that perfect timing in when to check in. Needless to say, there's a huge variety of wines offered - not just Armenian but more international (European, American etc) as well. There's also free wifi...and a choice of different platters (cheeses, meats) can be opted for too. Highly recommended to hang out with friends, or get introduced to Armenian wines.More

This small wine shop has a really excellent selection of Armenian wines as well as international options. All of the wines in their shop have gone through a blind tasting to be allowed on the shelves! They offer a tasting session where you can taste...a selection of their wines paired with a delicious cheese and charcuterie plate. Our sommelier, Armine, was so great. She really knew the wines and did a great job explaining them to us and teaching us about Armenian wines. You can also just come by and order glasses or bottles off the shelf. They have inside seating and some outdoor cafe-style seating as well. You do need a reservation for the wine tasting and they started at 6pm on the day we visited. Reservations are also recommended if you are coming during busy times (weekends, etc.). The tasting selection varies and I can't wait for my next visit!More

Wonderful place! Great atmosphere and wine. Staff is suberb, very friendly and always ready to suggest the best wine for you: Victoria is our favorite, she’s simply the best! Make sure to book a table in advance - the place is very popular.

I was impressed with the quantity (and quality) of wines In Vino has on offer. This is the best place to get an idea about the Armenian wines as well - they offer private tastings if you ask a day in advance, as we did....It's not overwhelming. You get the stories, the wines and appropriate food - cheese, bread, etc - nothing cooked, no knives and forks. We really had fun and learned a lot.More

I like wine and I like an occasional chat with people who know something about it that I don't. The stuff at this petite wine bar knows their wines and loves their guests - that's how I felt. Food - typical bar food (cheese, charcuterie,...olives, etc - nothing cooked) and menu from a next door restaurant they own. Service - very friendly. Prices - low by Western standards, middle of the road for the locals.More

I first found this wine bar almost 8 years ago. Nothing changed, it's still the best wine bar. It is bigger now and looks great. I ordered a private tasting of Armenian wines. Great format. The only suggestion I have is that they should enlarge...their food offering. The sandwich is great but more would be better.More

In Vino is a super friendly wine bar. The staff speaks English and they offer individual tastings with a full-blown story about the wines you taste - Armenian wines, of course. You also can do self-conducted tastings since they offer around 20-25 wines by the...glass starting at ridiculous 800 Drams (less than 1.5 Euros). For food, go to their Tapastan restaurant next door, as they only offer sandwiches, cheese, charcuterie, olives, and nuts here. I like the inside section, more quiet and secluded.More

For wine, Armenian and from around the world, there is no other place in Yerevan as good as In Vino. Reservations in the evening are must even now, when they expanded their small shop and bar. I suggest you order private tastings which they do...right at your table. Lovely concept. Don't miss it.More

I’m a customer of this winery and cannot definitely answer to your question, however it is less likely to find a yeast there, since they sell already ready final product from variety of suppliers.
