Sherep Restaurant garners high praise for its exceptional value, offering a delightful array of dishes that are both flavorful and elegantly served, without breaking the bank. Guests rave about the freshness and variety of the food, which encompasses local and pan-European cuisine. While the restaurant's location delivers mixed reviews, some visitors relish the scenic views and tranquility, despite occasional discomfort from nearby live music. The service is predominantly acclaimed for its professionalism and warmth, with staff often exceeding expectations, although a few patrons have noted slower service times. The vibrant live music and cozy atmosphere contribute to the overall lively dining experience at Sherep Restaurant.

Sherep is one of the best restaurants in Yerevan for Armenian cuisine. It is well situated very close to the Marriott Hotel and is very popular with locals and non-Armenians alike. It can cater for individuals or large groups of diners and is clean with a great ambience. My family and I dropped in for a cold refreshing drink after visiting the National Museum, and very much enjoyed an ice cold Tarragon drink. If you have never tried it, you should, it is quite a unique and deliciously refreshing drink. We were sat near to the section of the kitchen where you can watch them making the famous Armenian Lavash bread. Quite nice to watch being made and even better to eat with a meal. A few days later a group of 9 of us had an enjoyable dinner here. They provided good table service and there appeared to be a well stocked wine cellar. There was also classy live music playing in the background. I had the ribs or lamb cutlets (I forget which) which was well cooked and nicely tasty, washed down by a bottle of Dargett craft beer. In terms of presentation, I don’t like the way that it is the custom to layer the garnishing on top of the meat, however like I say, this type of presentation appears to be commonplace everywhere in Yerevan. That is why I gave 4/5 in my marking. Still one of the best places to enjoy Armenian cuisine.

We arrived in Yerevan late afternoon and was in dire need of good food to fill us up for a day in the city. Had our first meal here and we were highly impressed! Sherep with it's fancy ambience may seem intimidating but it's definitely budget-friendly. The food was very tasty, and while they are known for their juicy and delicious tasting grilled meat, I enjoyed their vegetable risotto the most! With regards to the service, definitely a 5-star! Suzen waited for us the whole time and he was very helpful, attentive and professional indeed. Thank you for the amazing food and service, Sherep! Highly recommended for sure!

I was there a couple of months ago. Service was very good. I ordered something from the menu which looked tasty and it really WAS very tasty. The Waiters were very professional, the way they were serving the meal was very interesting. They did some cool tricks with fire. The atmosphere was enjoyable. It’s a family-friendly place, also a good place to go with guests from abroad. But the music was a bit loud for me. It was hard to speak and hear each other. Prices are a bit higher, so it’s not for everyday lunch, but enjoying a meal once a month I think is ok. Sure will go there again.

The only problem with this place is that you have no idea what to choose! The menu is extensive and I’d recommend you ask the wait staff to suggest because the guys who served us were very knowledgeable. Can totally recommend the pork bbq dishes, the stew di manzo (which is actually an Italian dish but tastes sooo amazing with the fantastic local produce), and also the amazing vegetable-beef stew which is cooked inside a butternut pumpkin - I forget the name but it is the National dish apparently. The only low point is that the non-smoking section is tiny in comparison to the rest of the space, and is therefore pretty busy and you may need to wait for a table. As a western tourist it’s very weird to be in a restaurant where smoking is permitted...

Food quality 3/5 : OK at best, nothing to write home about. Not sure why people write raving reviews about this place. Service 2/5: With the exception of one or two waiters, the rest lack pleasant demeanor, they have not experienced high end customer service so are unable to provide it. Most waiters show by their manners that the job is beneath them and are at it because of the current socio-economic conditions of the country. Value 1/5: Rar too expensive for the average local, designed with the tourist in mind without the great service. Ambiance 1/5: Music is loud and mostly inappropriate for dinning, customers smoke like a chimney. We were told the 10% service charge must go to the waiters, but it does not. The restaurant owner takes it as an additional profit. The waiters then expect the customer to tip in addition to the service charge.

The food was normal, nothing too special. I had a beef tenderloin steak and asked for medium-well but it came to me well done and dry on the inside. I had mushroom cream sauce and oven roasted potatoeS yes with S but all I got is 1 pc of cold, small sized jacket potato and a teenee weenee pot of mushroom sauce, also cold. The service was excellent though when I entered the restaurant and I was greeted, a lady asked me if I want to be seated in smoking or non-smoking area when I'm obviously heavily pregnant which I find funny.

I have been waiting so long for this experience and finally had the chance to go there and not only my expectations were met but also they were exceeded. To put it more simply , if you are in Armenia and looking for a great dining experience then Sherep restaurant is your go to restaurant (in addition to any of the Yeremyan projects group restaurants)but make sure to reserve a table in advance. These guys are amazing from the moment you step in till the moment you step out. We went on a Sunday afternoon,we were well received when we were arrived. Our waiter Vahe and his waitress colleague who's name I failed to get ( and for that I apologize because her name should also be mentioned here to get the credit that she deserves , but you can't miss her she's cute, slim and has a wonderful smile😉) who were absolutely fantastic, professional, attentive and very accomodating . When I asked Vahe to repeat my order to avoid a tiny mis-hap that we went through the day before( in another Yeremyan projects restaurant) he obliged and reassured me everything was well received and relayed down to the tiniest detail;however the surprise came later when the restaurant manager approached me with regards to our tiny mis-hap , inquired about what had happened and apologized for it.( I have been to many restaurants in Yerevan, but their professionalism and customer service, hands down is one of the best if not the best in Yerevan) Enough about the service 😉, let's talk about the food. At Sherep restaurant on the menu you can find many different cuisines in addition to the Armenian cuisine, I would definitely recommend the stuffed aubergines in the appetizer menu and and the stuffed pumpkin in the main course . And finally speaking of desserts , the choices are many , and delicious they are; but unfortunately i have no photos for you guys as i was busy watching the chocoholic chocolate sphere melt while Vahe poured the hot chocolate syrup on it. Thank you Sherep , from top management , to everyone working behind the scenes and down to the last team member who had anything and everything to make our experience a memorable one. Wish you all continued success.

Dear Simon, Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful and valuable feedback. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority. The name of waitress who served you with Vahe is Gohar. Via your warm review we feel your honest sympathy towards us. Our chefs and pastry chefs put a bit of soul and love in the preparation of dishes and desserts, and in combination with professionalism, we are having something incredibly tasty. We are waiting you, your family members, friends at all our Restaurants. Sincerely, Armenui Hovhannisyan Customer Relations Manager Sherep Restaurant

My sister and I were visiting Armenia for the first time. And we decided to have dinner one afternoon at Sherep. Our waiter Karo, was extremely good, spoke English very well and brought everything perfectly to the table. We ordered one soup to share and it was portioned out beautifully for us both in deprecate bowls but kept as one order and that was perfect. For our mains we shared fish and he was very good in giving us proper plates and cutlery to share. He was very helpful with the menu and location of the bathroom. Would definitely go back! The food was super.

Sherep Restaurant is located near Republc Square and is mainly frequented by locals and tourists alike. The food is good but not too pricey and the interiors of the restaurant is really nice. The staffs serving and taking orders really know their specialties because we just asked them for recommendations and they were spot on delicious. Definitely recommended place for food and ambiance.

It could be a personal view but I did not like the food nor the service. The cheese (i think it was burrata) we ordered was fermenting and we didn't get a 'sorry' or a refund from the total bill. Upsetting because this is not the quality i expected from a highly ranked place.

Today my boyfriend ordered a table in Sherep restaurant so that we could celebrate my birthday together. Let’s start listing everything we liked/appreciated there 1.The service used to be really outstanding starting from greeting until the last moment (our server used to be Vahe, really helpful and professional employee) 2.The background music were also nice. 3.The kitchen used to be open and we could see how our dishes were being prepared and it was so hygienic. 4.The dishes (especially deserts and meat made ones) were sooooo yummy. 5.Atmosphere in terms of visitors also were nice. 6.Prices were average and the portions were relatively big. 7.At the end they gifted my some one which I do appreciated a lot.

We managed to go to Sherep twice luckily. The first time, midday for light lunch. It’s usually very busy and full, but our lovely host Marianna made sure to find us a nice table. I had Ajarski Khachaburi which was served fresh off the oven & it was delicious. The second time was on Armenian Christmas Day Jan. 6th. We made reservations ahead of time and had a choice of a very nice table. We were told there will be music but no extra charge for it. Quite honestly, it was such an enjoyable relaxing music. Not too loud, we could easily carry a conversation. We had a lovely time. They have a good variety of food choices. Great drink options as well. The atmosphere and decor are lovely. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Their fresh bread made on site is to die for, a must try! I would highly recommend visiting Sherep. But make sure you have reservations for dinner.

The restaurant is in the full city center, two minutes from Republic's Square. A very cool location, plenty of wondering dishes. It's hard to say which one is the best of them, but for sure these were an amazing discovering. Our waiter Hovakim was perfect advising us about plates and wine and the service had definitely no complaints.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in my life, the service is on top! Waitress so kind, helping me to choose a typical Armenian dish. The soup nraneh is a must it is so delicious. Then I loved the ghapama, typical dish made of pumpkin. They have the most special desserts, beautiful ones, it was really hard to choose one. I got the broken flower pot but I am sure all other ones were delicious as well. The waitress even came with a small table to cut the dish personally for me. I felt so special and all this food and 2 drinks cost me the equivalent of 22 euro including the service fee. This is crazy! It is so cheap. And people say this is one of the more expensive restaurants in Yerewan. Well, it was worth every cent! Only problem is that because it is so good, it is difficult to get a place there. I was lucky. You should make a reservation.
