Quite simple decoration, the restaurant bets on the food. Excellent products, well prepared and served with smile. Sea fish are available. Pasta and sauces are homemade. The tiramisu is very very good... Maybe the best Italian in town... but a bit overpriced.

Considering that I am Gluten free, my choices were limited however everybody in my group loved their food. They raved about the prosciutto pizza. I had the beet salad and it was very good. I hope they consider adding Gluten Free Pizza and some Gluten Free Pasta dishes.

Lots of good things to say - the service was prompt and helpful, the food was very delicious! Not the cheapest place to go. But the Food is excellent, house made! Like in Italy. If you like high class Italian food, go there.

My wife and I actually enjoyed it so much that we dined here twice on our June 2016 visit to Yerevan. We had an excellent Spaghettini Arrabbiata, the dish was delicious with just enough of a bite and perfectly al dente. We followed it with Trota al forno wish is Oven Baked Fresh Trout. It is without a doubt the... More

This restaurant was where my husband and I would go while living in Armenia and when we wanted a special treat of non-Armenian food. The filets are to die for as are all other dishes we tried. Best is the staff....friendly, efficient but accommodating if you wish to linger over a drink or coffee. The owner always came and chatted... More

We found Ankyun by chance, because it's very close to our apartment. The Latinised version of the name (which means 'Corner') is written on one side of the shingle, with 'անկյուն' on the other side. 'Ristorante Italiano' on the window got our attention. Ankyun is a small restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. The decor is elegantly simple. The background music... More

I have been visiting this place at least once a month for the last 6 years. The food has always been amazing. Personal recommendations : go for local Buratta , it's to die for and try the spaghetti arrabbiata , it's exceptional and normally comes with very spicy green armenian chile pepper as decoration/treat!

The venue lacks of charm but the service is very friendly and understands English. The owner is fluent in French. I had a salad with walnuts and blue cheese, very tasty. As main course, a pizza with peperoncini and bacon. Very thin crust, th pizza remaining crust after having eated more than half of it. Similar to good italian pizzas.... More
