the meal at lanterns was very good and well priced. It is very popular and we needed to make a booking. We have eaten at Lanterns on previous trips and their quality has remained at a high level.

The place is very popular both among tourists and locals. In the evening time there is a line to get in for dinner. If you don't want to wait come in advance and reserve a table. This place is really good if you feel like eating. Dishes are very big. Everything is very tasty and it doesn't take the staff... More

Busy restaurant with a social conscience and good atmosphere. We dined here twice & the staff remembered us. They were friendly and provided efficient service even though the restaurant was packed. Food rivalled anything else we had in Vietnam. Prices are very reasonable.

We arrived at peak supper time so queued for about 20 mins for a table for 2 which was fine - we're from London so have had to get used to queueing for popular places! Great menu with Vietnamese cuisine the focus but some Western dishes to save unadventurous eaters. Generally very reasonably priced for food and drinks were cheaper... More

Delicious local Vietnamese cuisine. Great selection on the menu, we wanted to try everything! Quick service, high quality food with excellent presentation. Would highly recommend this restaurant, great value for money! The Vietnamese curry is one to try!

This place is absolutely amazing. Not only is the food beautiful they are a non profit restaurant giving the proceeds to orphanages. The service was great and the price of food and drink incredibly reasonable! Would return in a heart beat!

I came here upon a recommendation from a friend and the place has a refreshing ambiance and the food really great. We came without a reservation but was lucky to receive a last minute open table since the place is packed. My boyfriend and I enjoyed talking with the staff and they were really helpful in guiding us to what... More

This restaurant supports children's charity's so that makes it special food was good a bit expensive but when you consider what some of the money is used for you don't mind. Book a table can get very busy

We chose to have dinner here, we did not have a reservation and had to wait about 25 minutes for a table for two, during this time they were seating people who had reservations for two people at tables big enough for 4 or 5 people. When we eventually sat down the service was appalling and we had to ask... More

We ate att the very busy and nice restaurant for three times. Friendly staff and everything we ate tasted really good. Nothing to complain about except that I was knocked down by a squid in tomato sauce the last night. Hate to say it but there is really only one prime suspect. Took me two days to recover.

Thank Bojkis

We have been operating since 2008 and hold half day cooking classes for visitors to Nha Trang at a cost of $24 USD per person. It is a great experience of travelling to the local market, buying food and then preparing 3 dishes as chosen by the guests. We also provide a small recipe book at the completion of the tour, as a memento and keepsake. We are also keen to differentiate ourselves from all the other dining places in Nha Trang and give the customer a unique Vietnamese experience. One area is, we are strongly supporting 12 local orphanages. I spent 2 months travelling through Nha Trang & Vietnam & spent a lot of my time with the children at orphanages. As a result, I am trying to give back to these kids, by teaching them life skills and how the real world operates, outside of the usual visits and photo opportunity. That's where the idea for Lanterns came. We invite kids and their careers to each at least one day per month, but any time they wish to come. We encourage the schools/orphanages to allow the older kids to gain work experience at our place and meet the people who visit Vietnam first hand, in a friendly helpful environment. One thing I am strongly committed to, is making sure the kids are not exploited in any way and nothing is ever done without discussing it & getting approval from the carers involved.
