Food was good, similar to the Asian cuisine you would get back home (Aus) but still yummy. We ordered the Vietnamese curry chicken which was good but the best thing we ordered was the ginger vegetables with beef, the beef was so juicy and tender, best part of the meal. We also had the fried corn which was good and... More

We use to go here, many years ago, when it was exceptional, then the food went down hill. Thought we would give another try with friends new to the city. Not worth the walk, service ok, but food poor, not very warm, small portions and very disappointing, with lots of noise from building works.

This place was recommended by the hotel and we went wandering down there on our first evening in Nha Trang. Having just arrived from Australia our body clocks were set earlier than those of the locals and we arrived just before six p.m. and had to wait ten minutes for a table. By the time we left after seven, the... More

When we arrived at this restaurant, the queue was a 40min wait at least and the entire restaurant was full. I got the sense that it is a steady flow and wait all the time during lunch or dinner time. Very get on with it customer service but it is expected in order to manage the different numbers of groups... More

A tourist hot spot, that has a good selection of typical-westernized Vietnamese meals. Maybe good for someone that’s not that adventurous, but to be honest half the meals felt way too western and barely Vietnamese. Spice level was at an all time low. Would not go here if you want to eat real Vietnamese food and be adventurous .

Read that they got busy at 18:30, showed up at 18:30 and there was quite the line. We decided to come back the next day. Next day we arrived just before 18. No line. We ordered drinks (mojito for me, beer for my man). They forgot the mojito. When they did bring it, i suspect there was very little rum... More

Fantastic hot pot of pork and a nice stuffed squid dish made for a fantastic dinner. The taste of the food is wonderful. The service was pretty decent (no one came by to offer me a second beer). The main issue here is without a dedicated hostess those without reservations are stuck on the narrow sidewalk in an awkward and... More

Fantastic food, great selection for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. Also they feed the homeless at lunchtime, yeah for a business that has done well sharing their hard work and luck.

Good food, breakfast is usually breakfast. And it was good. We walked by later that evening and probably 20 waiting outside to get in so if you're going for dinner, go early or reserve a table.

Description
We have been operating since 2008 and hold half day cooking classes for visitors to Nha Trang at a cost of $24 USD per person. It is a great experience of travelling to the local market, buying food and then preparing 3 dishes as chosen by the guests. We also provide a small recipe book at the completion of the tour, as a memento and keepsake. We are also keen to differentiate ourselves from all the other dining places in Nha Trang and give the customer a unique Vietnamese experience. One area is, we are strongly supporting 12 local orphanages. I spent 2 months travelling through Nha Trang & Vietnam & spent a lot of my time with the children at orphanages. As a result, I am trying to give back to these kids, by teaching them life skills and how the real world operates, outside of the usual visits and photo opportunity. That's where the idea for Lanterns came. We invite kids and their careers to each at least one day per month, but any time they wish to come. We encourage the schools/orphanages to allow the older kids to gain work experience at our place and meet the people who visit Vietnam first hand, in a friendly helpful environment. One thing I am strongly committed to, is making sure the kids are not exploited in any way and nothing is ever done without discussing it & getting approval from the carers involved.
