After finding this restaurant on trip advisor my friends and I decided to go and try it out. As soon as we got there it was full(good sign), staff found us a table as soon as they could. The menu has a wide variety and is reasonably prices also. Vietnamese curry was the best curry I've had in a while... More

They had a great balance of western and Vietnamese food. My friends got the pineapple boat with beef and loved it and my curry was one of the best I've had in Southeast Asia. Very busy though and had to wait for a table but turnover and service was relatively quick

We ate here for dinner and it was very busy, always a good sign! We had spring rolls to start and then I had chicken noodles and my partner had seafood pho. The food was delicious, my noodles were full of vegetables and chicken. I was so full when I left as the food was delicious. Some meals are great... More

This is a "fast" restaurant and a tourist spot. A lot of people are coming and going. You have to order fast, the food comes to your table fast and it even feels like you have to eat fast. The place is packed and there is people everywere! The food is good (they have vegetarian/vegan options). I would recommend that... More

This spot is a tourist mecca, it gets packed! I HAD to give this place 5 stars though because I constantly rated every tofu coconut curry on their one for the rest of my trip. It was soooo good! The staff were really efficient and managed to cope easily with our growing group of friends all ordering at different times.... More

Ate here twice during our stay. First time we had the self-cook BBQ which was good fun and the meat was delicious -really tasty marinade and a decent amount. It's hot/smokey work having it next to you on the table but worth it for a fun experience. The second time we just had 'normal' meals which were served promptly and... More

Arrived on a extremely wet night. Beautiful food and extremely well priced, was even able to fit in dessert. Very friendly staff, very busy and clean. Owned by an Aussie. They organised a taxi for us as it was so wet. Highly recommend.

We were caught in a big line out onto the street in the heat/humidity for over 20 minutes as we waited for a vacant table. It was a Tuesday night 6.30pm so maybe the best tip I could give is to definitely book ahead, no matter how many of you there are or what day of the week it is.... More

Virtually opposite the Galliot Hotel, Lanterns has been growing over the last four years. They still do Vietnamese food but have now gone more tourist orientated on thier menu. There is too much to choose from. It has always been and still is a restaurant where you get excellent food at an honest price. You can also get Saigon Special... More

We have been operating since 2008 and hold half day cooking classes for visitors to Nha Trang at a cost of $24 USD per person. It is a great experience of travelling to the local market, buying food and then preparing 3 dishes as chosen by the guests. We also provide a small recipe book at the completion of the tour, as a memento and keepsake. We are also keen to differentiate ourselves from all the other dining places in Nha Trang and give the customer a unique Vietnamese experience. One area is, we are strongly supporting 12 local orphanages. I spent 2 months travelling through Nha Trang & Vietnam & spent a lot of my time with the children at orphanages. As a result, I am trying to give back to these kids, by teaching them life skills and how the real world operates, outside of the usual visits and photo opportunity. That's where the idea for Lanterns came. We invite kids and their careers to each at least one day per month, but any time they wish to come. We encourage the schools/orphanages to allow the older kids to gain work experience at our place and meet the people who visit Vietnam first hand, in a friendly helpful environment. One thing I am strongly committed to, is making sure the kids are not exploited in any way and nothing is ever done without discussing it & getting approval from the carers involved.
