Happy to report that this restaurant has reopened. We had great Banh Khoai, a mini Banh Xeo, which looks like a taco, and Banh Beo, which had a gelatinous underside with flavored shrimp on top.

This restaurant was around the corner from our hotel . It is open and has shared tables but it was well worth a visit . We ordered a set menu which had a number of local dishes . The manager showed us how to eat...the different dishes which were very tasty . Reasonably priced and would definitely recommend.More

We visited this restaurant for lunch because it was near our hotel, Villa Hue, and because it was recommended by one of our tour guides in Hanoi. When we got the menu, we were overwhelmed and just decided upon the set menu - one vegetarian...option for me and one pork and shrimp option for my husband. We thought all the food was delicious and reasonably priced. It was like sampling a lot of local street food. Not all dishes were necessarily healthy, but they were all tasty!More

Hahn is a locals restaurant serving indigenous food. It is pretty basic, being a large hall with formica tables which is open to the exterior - as a result it can be very hot. There are some fans but they don't make much impact unless...they are pointing directly at you! The food is tasty, the beer was cold and the staff were very helpful, instructing us newbies on how to eat each dish. If you want an authentic locals experience this is a good place to go. Would have given it a higher rating if it wasn't do darned hot!More

Wanted to try this restaurant as heard many positive things about the food - however was closed for renovations. There was no notification on their website, and many people were standing outside trying to find alternatives..... Please post on your website any closures as to...not waste peoples time.More

This was an absolute let down. We went here because it was Lonely Planet recommended, but the dishes felt dirty and the ambience was underwhelming. We ordered the set menu which we were told we will be told how to eat, but the dishes were...just dumped at our table, with no explanation whatsoever. Please AVOID !!More

Great place to taste the local specialties: shrimp pancakes, grilled pork skewers, and veggies. Decoration is cantine style, but compensated by attentionate service with explanations for each dish. Excellent value for money.

A very local Vietnamese cuisine food. Service is good and helpful. Food is delicious and prices are cheap. I would recommend the menu, it allows you to try some of their main dishes.100% would go again!!

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as the perfect place to be introduced to the food of Hué. There is a tasting menu and the place is a mix of tourists and locals. It’s not fancy at all, and prices are low. The personnel...is welcoming and the dishes and how to eat them were explained to us patiently. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.More

This was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist so checked on reviews etc and thought we would give it a try. On arrival I thought we were at the wrong place. It basically looks like a large open garage area with tables. Not to...be put off we went in and ordered the platter x2. It was a cheap meal for sure and it was ok at best. If you want the full local experience then this may be for you. If you want local food but with more of a restaurant feel than a roadside cheap cafe, try somewhere else.More
