This is nice bar for foreigners.
They decorate with army background near main street. If you like the slow-life in Hue and see people, make reservation here and drink a cup of beer.
I make sure that is terrific. Cheers
It was more than 50 years since I visited the DMZ bar in Hue and it certainly has changed some. Much larger, brighter, better decorated. But it still has the wall with all of our signatures where I spent the good part of an hour...reading them and finding my own from so long ago. The service was great. Friendly, courteous and most of all welcoming. This is a great place, especially for nostalgia and I highly recommend our Vietnam brothers to come and visit.More
We lunched here, more out of curiosity than anything else. The food was OK, as was the service, but the overall impression (the decor).... Well, it depends on your view of the war. If you think it is ancient history and we're all pals now,...you'll probably like DMZ. If you're not quite there (I'm not; and Hue was where things began to crumble for the US), maybe try Little Italy (same owner). The juxtaposed AK-47 and M-16 door handles were a bit much.More
Stopped here for a spot of lunch. outside seating on the corner of a busy street, looked like a tourist hot spot. We ordered Singapore Noodles and Fresh Spring Rolls along with a couple of beers. The food was good but there was an issue...with the beers, firstly the wrong beer came, then the right beer but the wrong size. Busy place with a good vibe to it. Went to give it a try the next day but the outside area was closed for 3 days so looked elsewhere.More
Nice atmosphere here, got to talking to some nice people every time we visited. They have some typical Vietnamese dishes advertised on the wall that were not on the normal menu, but they were good. It's a bit more expensive compared to other, similar places,...but it's worth it for the atmosphereMore
This bar is like a typical US military pub. Interesting items on the wall and camouflage chairs. Small US helicopter gangs from the roof. Great location however more suitable for American tourists or those with an interest in US presence in Vietnam. Serves Vietnamese and...western food.More
I like this bar a lot. We had such fun there.
The staff were friendly and the local draft Huda beer was excellent!
We had lots of laughs playing pool (very badly) and we all greatly enjoyed the atmosphere.
Draft beers were very good and...reasonably priced.
I can't wait to revisit.More
