Cheap and cheerful but with decent quality food, especially the local stuff, and served up by a friendly couple and their staff. Great for an early breakfast off the train!

Upon entering Banana Mango we were welcomed by "Mango", a delightful lady overseeing a pleasant, basic restaurant specialising in very good local food and a range of fruit cocktails; mostly Vodka or Rum based. We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide only to find him and his family eating there when we dropped in for dinner! Busy place, competently run by a local family and lots of locals were there when we visited. It was a genuine insight into genuine Vietnamese food!

The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is they don't take plastic. Food is very good and served quickly. I had their shrimp and mushrooms with rice.

Our guide recommended this restaurant as being authentic Vietnamese and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and good value and looked like it was popular as was busy.

Our hotel recommended this place to eat local food. It was a god choice. It is cheap and has many typical dishes such as Noodle soup, rice, noodles & vegetables, grilled sea food among others. I ordered grilled fish and they gave me a filet very good cooked with rice. The dish size was perfect for me (i eat a... More

Absolutely great food with a very extensive menu. Friendly and courteous staff and prices are reasonable. Not fancy, but a diamond in the rough!

Had a lunch of shrimp and meat spring rolls (both great but recommend the shrimp) and beers. Incredibly reasonable, extensive menu.
