Made reservations and when we arrived they had a table ready for us @ the 2nd floor overlooking the street, our server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the seafood Banh khoai and stir fried noodles, both were very good. Take some time to look at the owner's photographs that line the walls, they're great!

Very nice food and friendly staff. The Vietnamese food is delicious and the pizza was great too. The owner is a photographer and since we have a good tip he gave us some postcards :)

Good, jummy, affordable food. Mr Cu - the owner- is always nearby, but the staff are capable and speak English fairly well.

One of my favorite meals while in Vietnam! This unassuming cafe was a wonderful surprise. We started with the spring rolls, enjoyed the squid and vegetable stir fry. All so very flavorful. The ingredients tasted like they were straight from the garden OR from the sea, as you would have it. The owner, Mr. Cu, gifted us with beautiful photographs upon... More

While our meal was great, and the service impeccable, the real treat here is seeing Mr Cu's photography. He is a true artist, and you can buy copies of his work (in various sizes.) He is a really lovely gentleman, who is thrilled that you come to his cafe. Memorable evening!

I would recommend coming to Mandarin cafe to eat whilst you are in Hue. We eat here as a family of 2 adults and two 7 year old girls. The cafe itself is easy to find and the staff are very friendly. The cafe is decorated with photographs on display on the walls taken by the owner, this are very... More

The Mandarin Cafe is a great restaurant that sells good food. We got the BLTs which were great. The restaurant is a nice little joint. The staff was nice and friendly. For added bonus Mr. Cu, the owner, is an accomplished photographer. You can peruse some of his great photography.

The Mandarin café is a popular eating place for travelers and you also get the chance to look at beautiful albums of photo's taken by Mr. Cu one of Hue's identities. Mr. Cu is a great photographer and sells his great photo's taken around Hue at very reasonable prices.. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

During our stay in Hue we had lunch or dinner at Mandarin every day. The food and service is amazing.

Would recommend coming here for a meal, or two, while visiting Hue. Don't forget to check out the photography from Mr Cu while you are there. Beautiful and authentic food and western if you prefer.

Thank Emma L
