Having visited a branch in Hanoi was keen to give this a try. A smaller space than its northern cousin the stalls were a bit less distinct. Staff were still friendly and the menu extensive. Food was still pretty tasty and it serves the purpose of delivering traditional street optons at a higher cost and "nicer" environment mostay for tourists,... More

great selection of foods, reasonable prices but not the best. The beef was chewy/tough (Pho Bo). The coconut drink had a good price

We booked at this bustling family restaurant recommended by our hotel staff. Nothing special here. The food was good, the suckling pig very good. Extremely hot and seated right near the kitchen so made for an uncomfortable evening.

Went here for our first day in Saigon. Wish I'd never bothered. First seat we got was a few Tables away from the toilets and my god the smell of urine was awful so we decided to move. We then got seated the other end of the restaurant where we must have had about 5 different waiters none of which... More

Quan An Ngon is described as a clean street food cafe restaurant . Genuine Vietnamese food is served in a quaint basic restaurant by a fun and accommodating staff. They helped us select our dishes and even helped us cook our hot pot. They enjoyed assisting us, took our picture and arranged for a cab home all with a smile.... More

Very beautiful ambience with loads of tourists. Food in general is alright, with some hits and misses. The escargot is something different, with minced meat. Coconut shoot salad is appetising. Exotic clams should be avoided - the one we ordered (balitong) had weird taste we did not touch after one. Service is really very slow and unresponsive because one person... More

Originally came here as part of our Ho Chi Minh City Tour for Lunch. But liked its Location across from the Park, and the open air aspect, that we came back twice more for Dinner in the evenings. Can't remember all the Dishes we had here, but on the last night, the Crab stood out as being quite memorable. Within... More

Our driver to hotel rexommended this place to us. Big place but looks like a tourist trap. We went there rather late, 9pm. Waiters were not very friendly and told us out of all phos/soups. Ok we ordered various rice and meat dishes. Tasted OK fried noodle very salty. Finished our meal and ready to pay. Saw one big rat... More

Quan An Ngon, from its beginning offering the best variety of regional Vietnamese street foods for a fairly reasonable price, to the newly upgraded version in Ho Chi Minh City, with even more and better dishes and choices, remains the go-to place for great street food from all 3 regions. Very conveniently located in downtown HCMC. Don't miss this one.... More

Stopped here on our way passed today for some lunch, very relaxed, both food and service very good and far from expensive, nice little find on our travels.
