This place can easily be confused with another Ngon (tasty) place along Pasteur but this is definitely a go to place if you are looking for good local food. I liked their glass noodles with crab (well topped!), spicy beef and fried wrap. I was told the chef makes the difference.

On our first night in HCM we went to this restaurant! A great introduction to street food but served in a restaurant atmosphere! We had the beef meat ball and mixed seafood rolls to start, pork noodle dish with a spring roll...amazing flavours! Had a couple of beers each and a coconut..whole meal came in just over £10! Service was... More

We came here right after we got into Ho Chi Minh, they provide various kinds of local food, you can see the local cooking process. The waiters are get used to serve to tourist, so there is not any problems in communication. They will provide a traditional baby chair if you bring your baby with you. The restaurant has a... More

This restaurant is located near the Independence Palace and War Museum. It's decor is definitely one of its kind. If you stay upstairs, I feel the dinining experience is more unique. I had the Broken Rice with pork and fried egg, a wonderful dish indeed. The dessert is also pretty interesting as well.

We visited during the day for a drink and browsed the menu and decided to return for dinner. We were not disappointed. The menu was extensive and the food very good quality - several steps above the street food we had been eating while the prices were comparable. The staff were friendly and helpful despite language problems. what also impressed... More

This place seems really popular with locals and has a huge range of Vietnamese food as well as a few western type options. The atmosphere is great and it was very busy, staff were really good. The meals were large and we certainly came away feeling very satisfied. It is in a good location by the Palace.

The concept of quan an gnon is to offer all the street food available in vietnam in a same place. The restaurant in Hanoi is great. In HCM, its smaller. The garden tables are very hot, and lack of fan. The service is not as plaisant than in Hanoi. But the choice of meal is important.

Thank nguyenvk
