We had a party for our group of 40 people on Dec. 28. Couldn't be happier with the choice. Everyone from those who responded email or Facebook messenger to the service staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, and the price was...very reasonable. Shrimp and pork salad was fresh. Chicken wings were tasty although should haven't been served as an appetizer, not with main courses. Fish soup was excellent! Grilled shrimps were overcooked a bit but still moist and spicy. Stuffed squids were flavorful. Tonkin Jasmine were kind of bland and tough (or it's just me). Overall it was a great experience. Will definitely recommend this place not only for its good cause, a non-profit organization, but also for its great food and service quality.More

My wife and I had dinner at your lovely restaurant on 17 Dec 2019 during our holiday in HCMC. We were greeted enthusiastically by a young man and attended to by Ms Emily. We had a great feast and commend Emily on her selection of...Vietnamese dishes. She also shared her knowledge about the ingredients of the various dishes and cooking methods and story of your restaurant. The food was good and Emily made it a great dinner outing. Congratulations on your restaurant and friendly staff and the good work that you do for the less fortunate children in Vietnam. We will definitely be back to Bloom Saigon on our next trip. Best wishes and God bless.More

Highly recommended. Although a training centre, the food was wonderful. Smiling faces with sincerity. If one is not familiar with the dishes get the floor manager/supervisor to recommend. Well done

Ate here based on TA reviews. We are staying at the Somerset just a few blocks away. We looked for it earlier in the day based on feedback that it is tricky to find and it is but as others say, it is worth it....Love that it donates profits to help disadvantaged kids. We had fresh and fried spring rolls, chili and lemongrass chicken, fried pork belly, garlic rice and green beans. All fresh and served efficiently. 2 ciders and 3 smoothies plus 4 ice creams and our meal was complete. Very cute colonial house, the bathroom still has the bathtub! Overall we enjoyed the meal and would recommend it. Total cost was $60usd.More

Visited with family for dinner as we were staying in Somerset behind the restaurant. Food is best we've had in Saigon so far - fresh, well cooked and full of flavours. Staff were super accommodating given we had a noisy 3yr old with us. Our...recommendations would be to have the fish with pomelo sauce and wing beans. The red wine was surprisi9good given its moderate price (by local standards). Dont get put off by the dark alley approach...there's something wonderful at the end of it!More

After receiving a glowing recommendation from a colleague to go to Bloom, I thought to give it a go. I reserved first and Emily straight away confirmed my table for one. She, along with the other staff at Bloom, were polite, friendly and attentive from...the start. I went with her recommendations (4 choice starter) and I opted for chilli and lemongrass chicken with garlic noodles. Being a solo traveller, the food was definitely made for easily 2 or even 3 people so I had to sadly leave some! Lovely place to eat (it's down a back street, Google maps is right), and all for a very good cause.More

We ate here 2 nights while in Saigon (HCMC) and LOVED IT! Every dish we had was delicious! Tried the soups, the duck, the chicken and soft shell crab! All very well prepared and delicious in a clean, charming and welcoming environment. Maybe the best...restaurant experience for us in Vietnam. The service was great and all of the staff is very friendly and warm. All of this plus profits go to orphans! A little hard to find, a short distance down an alley.More

I am an omnivore but prefer to eat vegan cuisine whenever I can. I went to this restaurant for a light lunch in Sept 2019. I was impressed with the vegan/vegetarian options. There were also a variety of meat dishes. I had the stir fried...jasmine blossoms. They were absolutely delicious and very flavourful! The prices were a bit more expensive than average, but I think this reflects the excellent quality of food, excellent service, and comfortable environment. Air conditioned with fans and wifi. Very friendly staff. Fast service. I would definitely eat here again. I would highly recommend this restaurant.More

Upscale restaurant with good food, not dumbed down tourist stuff. soft shelled crab was excellent as were the combination of goi cuon and eggrolls. I don't mind paying high prices for good ambience as long as the food is still authentic.

I read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and decided to try it. Certainly a little difficult to find down a narrow street, but google was very helpful. We were the only ones there and had the upstairs room. The food was excellent and waitress...was very helpful. We enjoyed great meal - Thanks everyone at Bloom !More

We managed to find this restaurant down a back alley avoiding barking dogs and ordered lemon grass chicken, pan friend sea bass, fish clay pot and another sea bass dish. Sadly whilst the food was tasty there were lots of bones in two of the...fish dishes. Margarita cocktail was good but the mojito was poor despite two attempts. Regardless really worth coming at least for the cause as all profits go to charity for parentless children. Also, noticed other people ordering sea food so maybe this is their speciality .More

In the back of a quiet small alley, away from the busy streets of HCMC, you will find this little gem. We were the only guests, but weren’t put off. It is nice to see no other people once in a while in this busy...city.... Great flavors and fresh smoothies. The staff looked a bit young and inexperienced, but they managed. There seems to be a roof terrace, but we had lunch at the ground floor. According to the menu all the profit of this restaurant is donated to charity. Good!More
