We orderd three different types of sushi rolls, gyoza and two lemon juices. The sushi and the gyoza was in my opinion perfect. The raw salmon tasted super fresh an the fried shrimps were also perfect.
The gyoza was roasted from one side (also perfect).
It’s definitely not the cheapest sushi restaurant but it‘s worth the money
If you are not far away, we do reccomend to come to sushi sun.

The sushi at this restaurant is outstanding—fresh, beautifully crafted, and bursting with flavor. The staff is friendly, the ambiance is inviting, and the presentation of each dish is a work of art. A must-visit for sushi lovers and Japanese cuisine enthusiasts

Nice small restaurant 3mins walk from walking street. Sushi rolls starting from around 50,000vnd for small ones with avocado or cucumber, and 160,000vnd for bigger 8 set with meat. Very nice, soft rolls with soft rice and fresh ingredients. Has quite a big menu so plenty to choose from

We found this charming and little authentic Japanese restaurant opposite the Pullman Saigon centre in District 1 . Round the corner from Walking Street.
The food was fabulous. Wonderful sushi, tempura, slices of fillet beef in garlic butter. Delicious miso soup and an extensive menu for sashimi and loads of other things! Two people with drinks and full up was less than £30! Fresh and beautifully presented
Ideal for everyone! Highly recommended!

Very cute place in Ho Chi Minh, close to the walking street. The sushis are great, a lot of variety and good prices. I went with someone who does not like sushi so much but they have a nice offer of non-sushi food (dumplings, Japanese fried chicken Kara age, etc etc). The ambiance is great, quiet little place. Service is impeccable. Highly recommend!

Good restaurant in town. Service is always perfect, food is always on point, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always looking forward to this place with my family, friends, colleagues and partners. I strongly recommend sushi, the udon noodle and grilled fish dishes.

I've been coming here for over four years. Lately the quality has deteriorated greatly, now the portions have become smaller, the amount of fish on the rolls is absolutely ridiculous. I decided to give the establishment one last chance today and discovered that they started adding 8 percent to the prices in the final bill. Am I in New York? Unworthy tricks, after which I feel deceived. Unfortunately, the this restaurant has hopelessly deteriorated; this was my last visit here.

We went to this restaurant thinking that it would be fresh and delicious, but we’ve got disappointed except for the (miso and chicken soup).
After we’ve ordered the sushi boat, they’ve just brought it to us in few seconds. We were thinking that the boat was almost prepared and frozen in advance, anyway in the end I’ve also made a remark to the owner that wasabi wasn’t spicy at all and the pickle ginger was too sweet, then the owner answered to me back saying it Japanese restaurant it’s like that.
Anyway, a bit pricey for the local restaurants.
Wanted to share our experience.

We absolutely loved the place and had lunch here on both days we stayed in Ho Chi Minh City! The food is very delicious and the prices are reasonable. Although it has to be said that we did not eat Sushi containing fish, only the Edamame, Avocado and California Maki. The restaurant was nice and quiet and the staff was very kind and attentive. One of the waiters even ran after us and brought me my hat, which I had forgotten. We absolutely recommend this place, it was our little “safe place” in the crazy streets of Ho Chi Minh City

Delicious gyoza and sashimi paired with hot sake. This restaurant truly uses good quality fish and ingredients. Our final dish a Fuji beef was simply delicious and totally filled us up. The gyoza reminded me of my last trip to Tokyo. Totally reasonably priced for the quality that you are getting. Also great service. Well worth a visit.

Sushi has a clean aesthetic with a vibe that just makes you wanna eat sushi. The pricing was right for a splurge night out on a backpacking budget, and the food was amazing. Im a major sushi fan and it holds up.

Authentic Japanese dinner with fresh Salmon and Tuna at its best, we shared three maki rolls (12 pieces per person) which were perfect for us. Very affordable but high quality food. You get HUGE value for your money!

What an amazing sushi experience we had. Our family, 3 kids, had a lot of great choices. Great choice between very accessible vs special choices. Besides the great sushi the menu, with authentic Japanese dishes look and taste great.

Fresh, amazing and fast. We had the whole top floor to ourselves with air con which was great as it’s damn hot in Saigon at the moment!! Cold beer and juices were fantastic. I love that they have the bell on your table one press has the brilliant staff sprinting to your table. The food was brilliant.

Sushi Sun is an extremely good place. A beautiful small location with lovely staff and amazingly tasty sushi. I have never in my life eaten such good sushi. Definitely a place to check off your list when you are in Ho Chi Minh City. Highly recommend this place. 5/5 stars!
