Loved the unique experience this provided. Food was divine, however expect portions on the smaller side. Enjoyable experience learning Vietnamese sign language and putting it to use.

What a great experience. Signing with the staff was great, made possible with the handy in house guide Having struggled to decide what to choose from the varied menu, we eventually went for the set menu which turned out to be a good choice! The food...was beautiful to both the eye and the pallet, with really subtle and intricate flavours. Really enjoyed each course and would recommend this to anyone visiting HMCMore
This is a must-visit location when you are in the city whether you are a local or you are visiting. Blanc. is a twin restaurant to Noir Dining in the Dark. If you come to Noir and experience a complete and absolutely dining experiences in...a pit-black room and the serving staff are visisually impaired, then when you come to Blanc., you are invited into a space that is decorated with carefully curated art pieces and the serving staff have hearing impairments. The food is delicious, which shows the care and dedication of the restaurants to its customers. It is also beautifully plated, and comes with a large portion that can both fill you up and allow you to taste the evolvement of the flavors. For us, Blanc. is a space of beauty, piece, openness, embracing and above all it is a place of and for the people. Highly recommend!More

I could find a sense of Tonkin the moment I walked through the door. This is truly a little Hanoi in Saigon. Hearing-impaired staff will always be there to make sure that I enjoyed my lunch. Food was fantastic with nice decoration. A must try...is pork and chicken. I will definitely come back.More

Excellent food. The portions are not big but very well prepared and nice presentation. You can easily order two appetizers and then a main course. The cold pea soup was very tasty with an additional cheese stick that I loved. The Atlantic scallops were well...prepared as well as the Crab Cua. The Angus beef was cooked just the way I asked complemented with mashed leek, carrots and good sauces. Try also the Quinoa curry. Very tasteful Chinese Vietnamese decoration in the restaurant. The waiters/waitresses are deaf and mute and a booklet presented when you arrive at your table gives you the opporutnity to learn some sign language. Very nice experience helped by the excellent service. They also have a good not too big choice of wines. If you are in Ho Chi Minh city go to restaurant. The next evening we went to their restaurant downstairs which is Noir. Eationg in complete darkness and served by blind waiters. Unforgettable experience and again excellent food quality.;More

The other restaurant of the group (Noir being the other), you simply can’t miss this. Both other experiences of dining in the dark (with a blind waiter), or in silence (with a deaf/mute waiter). Blanc offers dining with a deaf/mute waiter and is amazing. The...wait staff are so patient and friendly with children. The little ones also love learning and being able to communicate. Such a wonderful opportunity to engage and understand perspective of people with an impairment. Food is the best I have eaten anywhere too!! Do yourself a favour and book one or both (as we did).More

First time to Blanc and will be back! Amazing service and food was exquisite! Perfect portion sizes for a 4 course meal. The social enterprise nature of the restaurant is amazing. The ambience in the restaurant was really cosy and beautiful, complemented by the excellent dinner and servers. Though the latter are deaf/mute, it did not compromise on the excellent service that they gave. Same restaurant and owner with Noir blind dinning (downstairs) but about using sign language to communicate with restaurant staff (who are hearing impaired) The food was good (same quality as Noir) but the experience wasn't as interesting. When we visited Noir was full but Blanc...was empty so sometimes the staff wasn't available, together with the fact that you couldn't call them by voice was a bit inconvenienceMore
Dear Lee, Thank you for visiting our restaurants and for leaving a review. Of course, Noir. Dining in the Dark and Blanc. Restaurant are two totally different restaurants, difficult to compare. The experience of eating in the dark is definitely more spectacular than eating in...More

Have tried dining in the dark in my home country so decided on Blanc. instead. Service was excellent! I'm not too familiar with sign language and both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed learning a little bit of it during this dining experience. The staff...were very patient in guiding us along, too! The food.. well.. NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING! Really loved everything we had from the 2 set menus we ordered. Ingredients were fresh, food was well-prepared and presentation was definitely superb! We're also very impressed with how we felt very welcomed at this place, from the moment we entered, to the time we left when we even met Germ who was asking us about our experience. :) Thank you very much for taking care of our needs and ensuring such a great dining experience. Will be back again!More

We were actually headed for a restaurant right beside Blanc, and since that one was under renovation, we peeked into Blanc. And WOW! Everything was amazing. Much of the staff is deaf and every table is equipped with a short sign language instruction booklet. One...also orders using sign language. That alone was an amazing experience... and then the food arrived... and again, WOW! High gourmet dishes with an explosion of flavours. And I have to mention the beautiful furniture and art all around. If I lived in Ho Chi Minh, I would be a regular.More
