Been over two years since i ve last been here, enjoyed some lovely French Toast and fruits, with lemon ginger tea. Beers still cold, great to sit outside and watch the day go by. I will be back many times over the next six weeks.

Great place to chill close to Notre Dam and watch the world go by. Happy hour 330-630pm. Didn't have much food here, but the Czech Pilzner was good.

Why? Fantastic food. Thoughtful menu, based on the best of local produce. It's not fancy, but it's well cooked and well presented, and isn't too rich (OK apart from the chocolate nemesis however that was special) or fat laden. And there's something for everyone, even...the hard to please (vegan/ gluten free - you know who you are :-) ) And it's all super tasty and authentic. The sea bass came with little potatoes and a generous serve of garden fresh veg, and a herb pesto, Sensuously smoky babaganoush came with generous chunks of crispy carrot and cucumber - great way to kick off with the Heart of Darkness pilsner (fab local craft beer brand). Excellent wine list, somebody knows what they're doing. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable if a bit rushed, great music, great vibe. Loving the sound of the breakfast menu, it captures the vibe of various food capitals (e.g. San Fran, Melbourne, London), and I'm keen to see how they handle coffee. If you're sick of eating out, and looking for really decent food without fuss, this is the place.More

Been coming here since it opened. The decoration is really cool, the entire restaurant is covered in 1980s socilaist propaganda (hence the name, at least i think) style murals. The food is really tasty, they offer vietnamese classics as well as modern twists. Would particularly...reccomend the grilled aubergine.More

Hello Jimweezie, sorry I did not see your nice review earlier! You can purchase napkins at the restaurant. We cannot receive money overseas unfortunately ;) All the best!

- The waiting time to order is extremely long - Adding waiting time to make dishes is equally long as above - Employees do not respect customers - Calling to talk, hang up while talking to them

Read the reviews and thought it would be better than it really was... seemed expensive for what you get.

Terrible, rude service. And the manager did not intervene or care one bit. When I arrived there was no one to greet or seat me, so I walked around. The waiter saw me and (kind of) seated me. There was only one table of two...people at the time. The tables at this place are quite small (smallest tables I have ever seen); too small for two people to eat without feeling cramped. So I asked for the waiter to put two tables together because I did not want to feel cramped when ordering dinner with my date. The waiter left me without responding and I was still standing in disbelief because he did not give me a menu or seat me. I had to walk over to him (since he was the the only waiter and there was no hostess) to ask again if he would join the tables. He rudely replied that one table was "ok" and then rushed off rudely to the one table that he had. I then went to the bartender and told her that the waiter was very rude to me. I told her he acted rude to me three times. I then told her I would never spend a dime there. The bartender looked to a nearby table where the manager was sitting playing with her phone. I looked at the manager and told her the same thing. She sat there and said nothing. In short, this place is a disgrace. Don't take a chance on receiving the type of rudeness and incompetent service i was exposed to. Go where you are treated as if you matter.More

The food is excellent - traditional with a modern twist. The decor is bright and local. The service is typically Vietnamese: a compliment. The menu is authentic Vietnamese. The prices are above the norm, without any doubt, possibly reflecting the higher rental in the heart...of the city. The merchandise is cute and not at all kitsch. This is a good option, especially when the city is a bit quieter (during a pandemic, for example).More

Liked this restaurant when I was in Saigon/Hô Chi Minh last year. I was at lunch time, lots of people, but the staff was quite attentive. Good vibes and food at OK prices. Um dos restaurantes mais cool de Saigão. Boa localização, comida super fresca...e variada, boas cervejas. Tentar evitar a hora do almoço, costuma ter muita gente.More

Located in a very bubbly area, lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from really, but the vibe and first impression we got from Propaganda made us stay. The place was packed, we felt it was mostly locals, so that meant it has to be...good. The staff was very friendly and gave us a table in no time. I would recommend tho to make reservations ahead. I guess we were lucky really to get a table. The interior is very colourful, the design is very cool. The atmosphere is loud but in a good way. The food was delicious and plentiful, we only had a pho and some spring rolls, but the portion was so big it was really enough for both of us. The service was fast and efficient, not so personal but it was ok. I recommend this place for social gatherings and dinners surely.More
