We had business lunch at the restaurant and all of the dishes we ordered were delicious and the staff were very attentive and professional. I ate here twice but last experience was not that great as I chose Vietnamese dishes, probably here they are more about Western style. A part from that, the restaurant offers a great view over Saigon river as it lies just next to the river and last but not least, you can book the speed boat from Bach Dang port to go to the restaurant and experience the sightseeings along Saigon river.

The food quality has been consistently good. Breakfast menu is our favourite. The portion and presentation are perfect. The taste is excellent. The taste of Indonesian food is original taste as the Chef is Indonesian. The restaurant is always our family's number one choice.

We are staying in the Villa attached to the restaurant - decided to have an easy night and eat at The bistro. What a great decision. We sat by the river, nice spot, cool breeze. Lovely wine recommended by our waiter, really excellent food including one of the best pho we have ever had! We liked it so much we will bring our friends back tomorrow. Staff very helpful, not intrusive and pleasant
PS we also had breakfast here and it was also very good! Great coffee!!

Nice environment but that is the best with the restaurant. Bad service, food is decent but if you add the prices it is not good at all. They cannot even serve Parmesan cheese to Pasta before the pasta gets cold.

The breakfast area is an absolute disaster. The vacant lot next door is full of karaoke singing vagrants lying around doing nothing except yelling at each other. The lane way is full of parked up motorcycles and resembles a building site.
Do not have breakfast here and expect good service or a quiet experience. The staff are mostly interns and have not the slightest idea of hospitality management or service. To say they are clueless would be an understatement - common courtesy is absent, no greeting or even a bye or thankyou - they were just rude and lazy!
The standard has dropped through the floor and I will not be returning!
It is clear to me that the management do not care and are not bothered - the place needs to be turned on its head - good luck and good riddance.

We were very tired when we arrived late, just wanting some food to satisfy all the children in our company.
The food was disasterous. Main course arrived before apoteoser. Side orders came after the main was finished. Cheese to pasta arrived 30 minutes later. One main was so bad we could not even eat it. Very disappointing.

Firstly, let me start by saying we were part of an exceptionally large group of about 60 pax for a conference dinner so i don't want my negative review to be unfavourably compared to those of regular diners ordering off the menu.
MENU
We had a set menu that included overcooked duck, a particularly rubbery eel salad (yes I do acknowledge eel can be rubbery but shouldn't be to the point of unpleasant), a lotus root soup which was a basic broth with slices of rotus root floating in it, grilled prawns which hadn't been shelled or deveined and a fairly unexciting creme brulee. There were a few other items I can't recall but clearly not memorable either.
Whilst this menu may all sound ok, none of it was unique, spectacularly flavoured or particularly tasty. I am being harsh with this review quite simply because the setting was overlooking the Saigon river in plush gardens and located in a magnificent mansion and it looked like the kind of place frequented by the more elite clientele - the food was just plain ordinary in comparison.

Great location on the river road in D2. Food is ok, nothing special and service extremely slow. Very over priced for what you get and there are plenty of other places to eat and drink along the river. The Cousins won’t be back (unless somebody else is paying)

We went because we wanted a chilled out breakfast sat looking out onto the river. Unfortunately, they were hosting some event for a business so it was really busy. Problem number 2 is it’s too hot outside without a fan pointing at you (the sun wasn’t even out when we went) and they don’t have enough fans. The inside looked a bit too formal for breakfast so we stayed outside sweating. My husband said the Pho was good. I had the waffles, they were disappointing because they could easily have been better. The actual waffles were good but they were served plain with cream, honey and jam on the side. For that price I would really have expected them to be served topped with fresh fruit (bananas at least) and a caramel sauce or something. The service was fine, just difficult to get someone’s attention as they were so busy. Nice setting, I hope they get more fans and start serving the waffles in a way that reflects the price.

Due to atrocious weather we decided to eat in the hotel Bistro. It would not have been our first choice due to the previous reviews but we found the food quality and flavours to be very good. Although portions are small and prices are high. Service was attentive so happy with that.

Expensive place, sometimes does good food, however staff continually get the order wrong. For the price you would expect better trained staff. Been here so many tines but will look for a new breakfast spot
