We had business lunch at the restaurant and all of the dishes we ordered were delicious and the staff were very attentive and professional. I ate here twice but last experience was not that great as I chose Vietnamese dishes, probably here they are more...about Western style. A part from that, the restaurant offers a great view over Saigon river as it lies just next to the river and last but not least, you can book the speed boat from Bach Dang port to go to the restaurant and experience the sightseeings along Saigon river.More

Nice environment but that is the best with the restaurant. Bad service, food is decent but if you add the prices it is not good at all. They cannot even serve Parmesan cheese to Pasta before the pasta gets cold.More

We were very tired when we arrived late, just wanting some food to satisfy all the children in our company. The food was disasterous. Main course arrived before apoteoser. Side orders came after the main was finished. Cheese to pasta arrived 30 minutes later. One...main was so bad we could not even eat it. Very disappointing.More

Firstly, let me start by saying we were part of an exceptionally large group of about 60 pax for a conference dinner so i don't want my negative review to be unfavourably compared to those of regular diners ordering off the menu. MENU We had...a set menu that included overcooked duck, a particularly rubbery eel salad (yes I do acknowledge eel can be rubbery but shouldn't be to the point of unpleasant), a lotus root soup which was a basic broth with slices of rotus root floating in it, grilled prawns which hadn't been shelled or deveined and a fairly unexciting creme brulee. There were a few other items I can't recall but clearly not memorable either. Whilst this menu may all sound ok, none of it was unique, spectacularly flavoured or particularly tasty. I am being harsh with this review quite simply because the setting was overlooking the Saigon river in plush gardens and located in a magnificent mansion and it looked like the kind of place frequented by the more elite clientele - the food was just plain ordinary in comparison.More

Great location on the river road in D2. Food is ok, nothing special and service extremely slow. Very over priced for what you get and there are plenty of other places to eat and drink along the river. The Cousins won’t be back (unless somebody...else is paying)More

We went because we wanted a chilled out breakfast sat looking out onto the river. Unfortunately, they were hosting some event for a business so it was really busy. Problem number 2 is it’s too hot outside without a fan pointing at you (the sun...wasn’t even out when we went) and they don’t have enough fans. The inside looked a bit too formal for breakfast so we stayed outside sweating. My husband said the Pho was good. I had the waffles, they were disappointing because they could easily have been better. The actual waffles were good but they were served plain with cream, honey and jam on the side. For that price I would really have expected them to be served topped with fresh fruit (bananas at least) and a caramel sauce or something. The service was fine, just difficult to get someone’s attention as they were so busy. Nice setting, I hope they get more fans and start serving the waffles in a way that reflects the price.More

Due to atrocious weather we decided to eat in the hotel Bistro. It would not have been our first choice due to the previous reviews but we found the food quality and flavours to be very good. Although portions are small and prices are high....Service was attentive so happy with that.More

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. In particular, do not host a wedding or event here. I am writing this review to warn potential customers and honestly, I just don’t want anyone else to be ripped off and disappointed by this business—especially during...such a special event like your wedding! The management team cheats, is not transparent in any of their transactions and contracts, and I have found to be an incredibly dishonest business. Our family chose hosted a wedding here due to the beautiful venue. At the end, that was about all we were satisfied with. To have spent so much money for the event, I felt like they cut every possible corner to make a profit. We chose the banquet style menus with beverages paid upon consumption. At the end of the event, the restaurant did not provide evidence of consumed bottles of wine and in addition, I later found out that the pre-purchased beer for guests were never served. They essentially charged us out of the wazoo for wine and beer that was never consumed by guests. The food is mediocre at best and very expensive— I would not mind paying a lot for food if I felt like quality was there, this was not the case. We ordered roast chicken and they basically served us bony pieces. The management here seems to be consistently changing and now I understand why. This restaurant is not capable of executing a fine dining experience, as they are too cheap and frugal, even with this high price tag.More
