Went there in the morning as breakfast, it’s very local and the food is good, also it’s not expensive. Good choice if you like basic local food

The food here was amazing! Very affordable for a backpacker’s budget and great quality. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Vietnam, let alone HCM City. Staff was also very friendly and spoke good English!

Went in based on current review rate, but got very dissapointed. The place is dirty, food was served cold and not fresh. What were supposed to be beef meatballs, were in reality sticky noodles with some undefined meat scrumbles with no taste. Soup was served...More

Hu tieu Sadec is unique style if you are familiar with Nam Vang or Chinese style. The noodle material is different and nice. Friendly staffs. A minus point is the way to WC 😭

I came for the Banh Tam Bi, as recommended by Mike Chen. I didn't enjoy it. It was just very average and lacked flavour. We also saw a mouse crawling around the cords near the bar. The place was also quite empty and didn't seem...More

Very nice place. Not many tourists, more locals. Good food with pictures, good price, interesting sweet bean soup dessert, they have wet wipes on the table and some wooden chopsticks which finally didn't slip from my fingers. The staff doesn't know English, but the young...More

Hu tiu, banh tam are two well-known specialties of Sadec as well as the southern Vietnam, which has fascinated diners. With a passion and desire to introduce tempting dishes of Sadec to epicures in Saigon, Sadec Quan came into life with hopes that it would be a little corner in Saigon to serve two specialties – hutiu and banh tam Sadec. Located at 154 Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh city, Sadec Quan which is one of amazing Vietnamese Restaurant, will be your love at first sight. The place is adorned with a glamorous, modern and warm atmosphere with a unique and friendly red theme, making you feel intimate, comfortable and relaxed. The decoration is pleasant and consistent. Rustic diner table sets are arranged wisely, with a few artistic wooden frames; above are the bulbs spreading coziness and warmth. What could be as enjoyable as enjoying special savory meals with our beloved people? For high priority of preserving the original flavors, Sadec Quan recruits cooks from Sadec local people with yearsof experience. Moreover, the ingredients such as hutiu, banh tam, etc. come from Sadec and are made of natural rice powder. Hu tieu: Hu tieu (hutiu) – made from Sa Dec rice powder – has been one of Sa Dec’s splendid specialty. You can feel a distinguished flavor of Sadec Quan’s hutiu. For starters, Sadec hutiu noodles, unlike usually limp ones, are fascinating for its unique but reasonable toughness. Next, the soup juice is sweet, strong and distilled from long-stewed bone and meat. It is noticeable that our soup juice is cooked with a secretive recipe. Besides watered hutiu, Sa Dec is also famous for dry hutiu with its featured soup juice. A plate of dry hutiu with boiled noodle cake, some chunks of meat, liver, some sour sweet sauce… and a bowl of smoking hot juice soup is extra-ordinary. Worm cake with Shreds of Pork Skin (Banh Tam Bi) and Charsiew (Xiu mai): In addition to the special hutiu, banh tam bi (pork skin rice noodles) attracts diners with the simplicity of soft noodles made from rice powder, matchstick-size sliced pork skin, sliced pork meat, herbs, cucumber, sprouting seeds and coconut juice. Diners experience the strong flavor of the sauce, thickness of peanut and the sweet creamy coconut juice, and feel the smell and flavor melting in your mouth that you can do nothing but keep enjoying.
