I have been coming to Five Oysters for the past several years on my trips to Vietnam. The food is normally pretty good. On this trip I have noticed a considerable decline in both food and service. When you walk in a server just points...More

Simply great! Tried both Oysters w/wasabi, fresh spring rolls w/shrimp and fried tofu w/lemon grass - all dishes very fresh and tasty! Prices are very low, both on food and drinks! 12k dong for a beer is hard to beat!

This could be said that they offer best pork, still it is not that exactly the best tho. The sauce of the pork was horrible. Recommend for cheap foods!

This restaurant is the first place ever I tried a pho in vietnam! Now that I have been living and working in vietnam for some months now, it is still the best Pho around for taste, price point and amazing location right on walking street....More

We sat at the front row of the restaurant watching the streets over drinks and oysters and local delicacies. No complains about everything until I realised something was missing about the almost perfect experience - music. Either the rest of the street was thumping too...More

Five Oysters have ice cold beer at cheap prices, add the friendly staff to that and you can't go wrong! No comment on food as we didn't eat here but plenty of tables did.

Came as a group of 6 of us, we all ordered different foods. Everything that came out was very good, although one meal came quite a long time after the others. I just had the Vietnamese pancake and a beer, very tasty. Had a try...More

I asked for a seasonal fruit platter and it came with 4 triangles of watermelon and one small slice of pineapple. Worst fruit platter ever ! Not coming back to try food.

Description
Five Oysters Restaurant proposes an authentic and fine Vietnamese cuisine, especially seafood. It is located in the busy Bui Vien St. but not in the noisy part of this backpacking street. You can choose a seat in front of the resto to watch people walking and the traffic or a table inside to dine in the cozy dining space. Since the resto owner's hometown is Long Hai beach where is famous for seafood and oysters, you can find seafood and other local food here really fresh. Not like amost other restaurants in backpacking area which are owned by foreigners, this resto is 100% Vietnamese. Check out this place if you 'd like to try a True Vietnamese kitchen in Saigon.
