We have been in the place. A contemporary look and proper setup. Food is excellent for a typical central part of Vietnam as its name. We tried quite many different dishes and all were delicious and eventually ...with excellent desserts. Corkage fee was also reasonable. Only a minor issue for my 'small' spicy beef soup, it was tasty but the soup was not hot enough. It could be that I added too many herbs and condiments. Thank you for great service. Highly recommended, will return soon before flying off the country.

The owner went to a premier cooking school in France, so in addition to specialising in Huế cuisine, it has some French dishes! There are more authentic Huế restaurants in Saigon, but this is by far the most upmarket one, and it’s pretty good, so it’s extremely popular with expats and rich overseas Vietnamese. Service is good, but certainly not what you should expect at this price level in Vietnam.

Lovely food and nice place! Had the tasting menu and got to taste the most delicious dishes! If you want to try the different authentic Vietnamese dishes I recommend it! The dessert in particular was festive and very tasty, with surprising textures/tastes - and not something I would order myself. They also had good wine (new zealand chardonnay).

I have been at Đồng Phố several times in the past and used to love Hue food at this restaurant. I was excited when my cousins suggested this restaurant. So we reserved a table for 7. The restaurant still looked nice and cozy. The services were fine as my cousins dines there frequently.
We ordered several dishes and after tasting some of them, I was disappointed that the food was not as good as they used to be. Most dishes were average but the Bun Bo soup was totally bland and did not taste like the authentic Bun Bo soup any more!!!
The price was expensive even though we got some discounts.
I would love to give this restaurant another try next time I visit Saigon. Hopefully the chef will improve the food and the price is more reasonable by then.

This is the #1 Vietnamese restaurant in HCMC. its in district 3 and we had the local people took us there. Very cute restaurant but the food is amazing. Small dishes to die for and we ordered a lot. My wife's number place in Vietnam for sure.

The food here was really good but the ambience and service were really average and did not reflect the helpfulness and friendliness we found elsewhere in Vietnam.
Loved the seafood spring rolls but otherwise really disappointed in this place

Beautiful food but really poor service, and bad attitude by management (French owners?).
Never in all my years have I had such a bad experienced and I don’t like to write bad reviews but I’m just being honest.
Booked this restaurant based on the hundreds of glowing reviews online.
Arrived at the time we book but the staff already seemed frazzled and confused - not a great sign but we got seated.
Huge menu with wide selection of dishes.
We ordered, and the food arrived really fast.
No wine list when we asked - they just asked if we preferred white or red. That was it , and two glasses arrived, no idea what variety of wine it was and he was gone before we could ask.
Food was all delicious and fresh, and we were very happy.
But then the service just suddenly stopped all together - staff were blatantly ignoring us! Ironically this was as tables started leaving, so service should have improved if anything.
We eventually caught the attention of a staff member and asked for a dessert menu which they brought. And then waited another 10 minutes but again we were being ignored by every staff member again. Couldn’t even get the bill !
So we decided to walk to the counter and pay & leave as we were clearly not made to feel welcome anymore.
Well, management were clueless with regards to the table bills and quite frankly didn’t really give a damn about anything.
Incredibly bad attitude.
We then wanted to pay with a contactless credit card on my mobile phone but they just pretended they had no idea what this payment form was. We’ve been using contactless mobile phone payment for a week in Saigon and never had a single issue anywhere - Covid has made everyone use this convenient payment method.
We ended up paying in cash with a mix of USD and VND.
Such a sour end to what was a pleasant evening. Completely unexpected and unnecessary attitude from the French owner/ management, and the opposite experience to what we’ve had at every other establishment during our time in Saigon.

The restaurant offers great choice of vietnamese and French food. We chose vietnamese food and were very pleased by it. The service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Good choice!

The restaurant offers good vietnamese and french cuisines reasonably priced given the atmosphere and the services. Photo opportunities everywhere inside the house and on the plates. Their onion soup is what I miss most!

There is a wide selection of authentic Vietnamese foods which are delicious prepared and properly presented by the attentive wait staff. We ordered 16 items which were all delicious including the snails. You will not only enjoy the food but also the homey atmosphere and the price as well. I think this is by far the best restaurant I have found in Ho Chi Minh City.
