Personally it’s the best location to be at whilst in Saigon. The beds were super comfortable. The lounge staff and waitresses were excellent. Good breakfast spread. Only downside is the front desk and check-in staff, they really need to smile or go for some customer...More

The rooftop bar has a lot of history. The setting was nice, drinks pricy. Unfortunately no music until 8.00/9.00 p.m. but it was a nice experience.

The Rex is famous for the large rooftop bar. Still in operation with a 20% discount happy hour from about 5 - 7pm. This is the place where the press hung out during the American War, as they call it, in the 60s and 70s....More

We were staying at another hotel but we wanted to come have drinks at the bar on the roof because there is such history connected with this location.

Yes you can but it is a lot cheaper to get a cab! The cab rank is right outside departures, to the left. Stick with Vinasun or Maling (?). Always ask that they put the meter on. But bothered companies were fine. Have fun!
