As a regular guest this was the last time I stayed in the Rex hotel. Over priced no service.
the breakfast ad usual is not up to standard eg coffee is burned, where Vietnam is proud of there coffee

The Rex is famous for the large rooftop bar. Still in operation with a 20% discount happy hour from about 5 - 7pm. This is the place where the press hung out during the American War, as they call it, in the 60s and 70s....More
Yes you can but it is a lot cheaper to get a cab! The cab rank is right outside departures, to the left. Stick with Vinasun or Maling (?). Always ask that they put the meter on. But bothered companies were fine. Have fun!
