we went to Koto with our Intrepid travel company group of 16, the food is amazing, setting is beautiful and prices very reasonable, but the BEST bit, is the staff who are undergoing training, our waiter (Tot) had an incredible story of how Koto has changed his life from being a homeless orphan with no employment skills, to now nearly... Koto train the previously homeless, to an exceptional hospitality standard, wonderful food, staff go the extra mile in service under training, well worth supporting, and great value, staff and venue 5 star. Tot was a fantastic waiter, ask him his story.

Found this dining area after a recommendation and it was excellent. Very attentive service and the rooftop restaurant was an oasis in the city. Food was beautiful and the location near the cathedral easy to find.

This restaurant was suggested by our tour guide and he assured us we won't be disappointed. We were welcomed with a traditional snack which had all of the lovely crisp flavours and a small orange and lemonade beverage. The entree we ordered was the spring rolls, they were great, all the flavours we enjoy plus the normal dipping sauce. Our... More

Knowing the story behind this amazing restaurant makes it so much more amazing. A teaching restaurant of youth off the streets! All being trained to care for themselves and their careers through hospitality training. Ask them about their stories. And the bonus is they do an amazing job! Yummy!

Koto provided us with a beautiful meal from their set selection for a group of 22. All the dishes were delicious, beautifully presented and well received by our group. The staff are all in training so it is important to be mindful of this with regards service and English - they were street kids and are now trying to cope... More

This place not only serves excellent food and gives impeccable service, there's a good cause behind it as well. It is a non-for-profit restaurant which staff consists of former street children and disadvantaged youth who studied hospitality skills, English and essential life skills in KOTO training center. Help these children fulfill their dreams by dining at KOTO, or you can also... More

An interesting concept behind the restaurant and the staff are trying their best to provide excellent service. No real issues, only my burger was semi-cold as they were probably waiting for the chips to fry (as they were piping hot). It is in a soulless mall on the top floor and it wasn't too busy when we visited for a... More

Hi el_hungaro_ingles, Thank you for the lovely comment, support and understanding. Our current staff is 70% trainees at the moment. Our very hard-working trainees are trying very hard to catch up with the service quality and speed of our alumni and permanent staff. I shall take the liberty to pass your comment to the chef. We hope to see you... More

Lovely food however was disappointed that 3 things in the menu were not available. I really wanted to try the duck :( I like the ethos of the place and understand it's a training restaurant so choice can be limited.

I love KOTO's ethos and we are huge supporters of the organisation. Thrilled this week to try, twice, KOTO Kumho which last year moved premises. Its new space is huge, though as KOTO appears to be marketing itself and the menu to large tour groups the higher visibility premises and larger environment makes sense. Food quality is good and service... More
