We looked for a restaurant where we were able to get an European selection as our friend struggled with local cuisine. The menu on line gave us what we wanted so we went alone for the chicken and schnitzel which gave us just what we...wanted. Going with the nachos and salsa on a Tuesday gave us a free margarita!More

La Habana is a European owned restaurant which specialises in Spanish and German cuisine. There was a step to get into the restaurant, which the staff easily managed to help me up. Once I got up the step, everything was on one level. The toilets...were accessible and big enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair. It was such a pleasure to be enabled to go to the bathroom without any assistance! The beer is cheap, and the food is very tasty. There is plenty of variety on the Menu, from Spanish Tapas and Paella to German Schnitzel. My favourite was the Tumbet, a vegetarian Mallorcan dish. A mixture of potatoes, eggplant, pepper and tomatoes. The food is expensive, by Pham standards anyway, but was well worth the money. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. We liked it so much it became our regular meeting point!More

Great, friendly little restaurant and bar. The food is good and it is located in the heart of District 1. A quirky mix of Spanish and German food. Nice relaxed place to hang out.

Nice and clean place with Tapas, Mediterranean, German and International dishes. Very big choice of international beers, including the world known German HOFBRAUHAUS beer.

From the moment I walked into the restaurant I noticed a difference. Small but quaint, I was surprised the waitress spoke English and smiled when I was greeted with a menu, making my visit even better than most other restaurants and I had just arrived....My choice of beverage was an authentic German dark beer, something I had not expected to find with a name like La Habana. The menu gave me a choice between German, Spanish or Seafood, truly an International atmosphere in this cool place I had stumbled across. I was there on Saturday evening and a live band played familiar tunes with a singer by the name of Phuong Anh. I was enthralled by the quality of service, cleanliness, and laid back feeling that made my stay in Ho Chi Minh City a whole lot better. The only thing I didn't like was leaving!More

Best food I’ve had in Vietnam, never mind that whilst being in South east Asia, me and 3 friends came, one had steak, one had fish and I myself had grilled chicken- wine was on happy hour and proper Merlot red wine no cheap stuff,...food was 10/10, service was amazing, staff friendly and cheerful and prices was reasonable, steak was around £9.00 GBP (very good with Fries salad and a sauce) that was the most expensive meal we ordered between the lot of us. ( not much at all for the food you revived) nice sized also. They have cheaper options on menu also, all in all great. Definitely recommend.More

We arrived at 7pm to the place with my friend who recommended it. Was 4 of us. Downstairs 3 table upstarirs only us. We place order about 7:10pm. Meanwhile a small group of German people arrived next to our table who was booked propably. About...10 people. That group had dessert while we was waiting to our starters! I got my appetizer after 40 minutes our order. Was a tomato salad. Had a plate of almost green tomatoes with a bit of pesto on it. NO TASTE at all! About 50 min we got 1 plate of chicken wings and my garlic soup about 1 hour. The soup was also terrible. Taste and look like a hot water with few piece of garlic and bread on top with a bit of cheese. After about 1hour20 minutes my friend got his snitzel. His girlfriend and my girlfriend got their order one by one also long time between. I got my maincourse at 8:40pm. I had a Cordon Bleu with mashed potato. Meat was over salted and the mashed potato was terrible. I could not finished. I was tried many time during this time to tell the waiters and even the german cook to please do something. But they was just smiling and say soon soon. The chef brought me a beer for free to try to make me happy. Which was nice at least. But I was already too upset. In top of this, when we left the owner was siting and drinking with his friends at the entrace and my friends was expaplining our problem in nice way, but he just was smiling and said "hope they give something to make you happy" -he said not exactly but something like this. So , if you want a terrible time go ahead and order food! Make sure u not in the rush or super hungry. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT! Never ever will come back and I will tell my friends as well to avoid this place!More

The staff are very friendly, especially if you come back regularly! We went here every day we were in Vietnam. Always got half price cocktails (60,000) and beers for only 30,000. The food comes out very quick and it’s amazing - especially the paella and...the garlic mushrooms!!! The cocktails are perfectly made every time. Thank you for having us 🙂More
