Soft and puffy pancakes! Taste like soufflé, quite a special experience. Reasonably priced, ambient atmosphere, good place for gathering and relaxation.

Japanese pancakes were amazing. Just for 45k vnd. Surprised to see so few reviews for this place. Definitely worth a visit

There were lots of beautiful cafes in Ho Chi Min City - Vietnam, including a couple of Japanese theme cafes.
Material Cafe was one of those with very beautiful ambient, environment, food and extremely friendly staffs, that I came twice despite my short stay and couldn't help to chill out here...
Service was great too!
Green tea was served before I even ordered anything, which surprised me.
Hashed Beef & (Fluffy Japanese) Pancakes are their specialty. Definitely a must try!
3 levels of space with different interior design also gives you a choice to hang out in whichever level that suits your mood.
I unexpectedly chance upon this cafe while on my way to a conference at Le Meridien Saigon hotel.
I was very impressed with the cafe and started taking pictures for keepsake but ended up meeting the bosses of the cafe and they greeted me with amazing hospitality!~
It is definitely a place worth visiting!

This is wonderful coffee shop. The dessert is delicious, especially pancake. The space is decorated so lovely.
