Ho Con Rua, or Turtle Lake is a fountain nestled inside a traffic roundabout at Pham NGOC Thach and Vo Van Tan, and this Gloria Jean's coffee shop faces the fountain. - Gloria Jean's was the very first international coffee chain to arrive in Vietnam and is still very popular with locals and travelers. - Great coffee, tea and fruit... Just had to call in to Gloria's for the familar, western, barista style coffee that we have become accustomed to in Australia. Especially so after being served the tar tasting coffee on airplanes and the sweeten condensed coffee as the Vietnamese love to drink.

After a harrowing afternoon visiting the nearby War Remnants Museum I needed time to collect my thoughts, escape the humidity and heat and get something to drink. I perchanced upon Gloria Jean's Coffee shop nearby and recalling my good experience at the same establishment in Dubai, UAE I thought that I would give it a try. Having sunk into a... More

During our 3 weeks in Saigon we frequently visited Gloria jeans for our evening coffee. The staff were as proffessional and friendly as any here in Australia, they all spoke excellent english and were a delight to talk to.We recommend sitting outside from 6pm and have a relaxing coffee while watching the organised choas that is saigon streets.

Gloria Jeans had the same great taste as we've come to expect. The ice chocolate went down a treat especially with a nice cake to go with it. Who can say no to that? A person on a diet maybe. The staff a nice and help you with your needs which is nice.

We go to the Gloria Jean's coffee shop near the Presidential Palace in Ho Chi Minh just to have a coffee and watch the traffic. There are motorcycles going in every direction and it is amazing to see how people manage to survive. The coffee and buns are good and the the staff are on the ball. Worth the cost... More

This was, without question, the most satisfying coffee I've had in Vietnam. Sure, you can get Vietnamese style coffees elsewhere for cheaper, but if you want a good coffeehouse style coffee, then this is an excellent option.

A short walk from our hotel (Victory Hotel, Saigon), we enjoyed a "real" (western) coffee in HCMC. Friendly staff, free wifi and located next to a lovely bakery. It was nice to "people watch" onto the street also.

This place is extremely expensive by HCMC standards, and you don't really get much for your extra money. The staff is rude and unprofessional, and the food and drinks are ok, but no better than what you can get for much better prices elsewhere.

I guess this review is being done in comparison to my frequent visits to Coffee Bean. Gloria Jean's did not impress me. Tables and chairs always seemed dirty and not picked up. The Americano was never the same. The place just had an awkward feel to it, if you know what I mean. Pastries were dry.
