This is the perfect coffee shop! Came here unexpectedly while walking the streets and couldn’t be more happy we found it. They welcomed us with a lovely refreshing glass of cinnamon tea, kindly appreciated. We ordered egg coffee, Vietnamese coffee, tuna sandwich and mango with yoghurt. It was all amazing, the egg coffee was the best I’ve had by far, if you want to try it or love it already, you have to come here! The Vietnamese coffee was also excellent. The tuna sandwich was delicious and hearty, and came with a complimentary fruit pot. The mango yoghurt was so sweet and flavourful. All in all, amazing food and drinks! Nhien was such a lovely waitress, so kind and welcoming. There’s a nice view of the street, and upstairs is cosy and quiet. A perfect escape from the busy streets, with such a calm, lovely vibe. We could not recommend it enough here.

A very cute cafe with Vietnamese decor. There was a short wait before being seated, but the staff were efficient and very polite. I ordered the avocado toast and lychee iced tea and both were delicious! This is one of the first times I have been at a cafe and the eggs have been cooked properly, not underdone!! You can also pick up a free postcard, wallet and rain jacket if you like.

Breakfast place in the central area of D Ho Chi Minh. There are multiple rooms on different levels, we were on the second floor in a very nice and comfortable room. Extremely attentive and courteous service, they offer a sort of tea as soon as you sit down, egg coffee to taste (a coffee with a sort of eggnog on top) reminiscent of tiramisu, mango toast plentiful and good.

If you don’t visit Little Hanoi when in HCMC, you may as well have stayed home. This quirky and hospitable small cafe serves the infamous egg coffee. A cold egg coffee was my go to choice. My partner and I fell in love with this place and enjoyed 4 out of 6 breakfasts during our week holiday. We couldn’t go anywhere else as it was that good. We tried the eggs, avo on toast, iced teas and we HIGHLY recommend the banana on toast. Yum!
To the staff and especially Brian, thank you for such a warm smile and welcoming and the delicious food and coffee we enjoyed each day.
I am already missing the egg coffee.

I’m not going to bag this place, it just was not to my liking. If you want to buy 1 coffee and then sit there for 3 hours then this might be the place for you. Tried the egg coffee which was certainly okay and sweet, but no need for me to try it again. We waited 40 minutes upstairs for someone to serve us, and from the very limited menu we ordered cheese Toasties and Unfortunately the cheese was that kraft single wrap plastic cheese… If you were walking past and wanted to try an egg coffee I would pop in, but if you’re looking for somewhere for breakfast or lunch I would suspect you could do a lot better elsewhere.

Little HaNoi Egg Coffee offers a cozy atmosphere and an authentic taste of traditional Vietnamese egg coffee. The rich, creamy topping perfectly complements the bold coffee flavor. Friendly staff and a charming vibe make it a must-visit for coffee lovers. Highly recommended!

We went here for breakfast and it was delicious! The egg coffee was a very unique flavor and something you have to try. It tasted really good. We got a bacon avocado and poached egg toast and the banana toast. Both were great. Everything coming out looked good.

A really nice little shop, delicious toast and the egg coffee is also very good. The noise level is very pleasant. I recommend the chicken toast with pesto and an orange-cinnamon tea (cold). The staff were also very friendly.

We went there after visiting their other branch which was truly 5 star in all aspects.
This restaurant interior and ambience is bit cramped and darkish although they have more capacity.

But we were not happy the way staff handled waiting customers.
When we arrived - we were told to wait 10 min as all tables were full , so we waited outside as there is no space inside. Then another couple walked in and waitress gave them a table without even checking on us despite knowing we were 1 at in queue.
In fact the staff did not even bother to look outside as who is waiting - simply don’t care. Finally I have to go inside to remind them of waiting queue ( there were more people apart from us) and magically they said ohh now we have a table - although no customer left.
I will recommend other branch which is also in district 1 and have nice windows and view of outside from first floor.

I had found out about this cafe from a Vietnamese student and so glad he had let me know about it. I was not travelling to the original home town of the egg coffee but wanted to experience it.
This cafe is hidden in a little laneway but upon entering you are welcomed with a very homey vibe. The same add were lovely and the drinks were amazing. We tried the egg coffee and peach tea. The egg coffee was a real treat. A thick layer of the egg milk on top of a bold black coffee base. The cafe recommends sampling each layer on its own first them blend together. I’m pleased I followed their recommendation.
With the peach tea I was pleased that the taste of the tea wasn’t overly sweet. So refreshing on a hot Saigon day.
If you are looking for a little hidden gem near the Ben Thanh market then this should be on your list.

What a gem of a place for breakfast before our tour. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, an omelette (side of spinach and garlic and fresh avocado was 🙌) and Eggs Benny with lovely strong coffee and banana smoothies in this cute restaurant with beautiful photos and photos all around. Highly recommend - the ladies were lovely and catered for my gluten free diet with a little help from Google translate.

First time egg coffee drinker, so I can't compare it. But as a first-time drinker, it's damn good stuff! The egg tastes like a sweet liquid marshmallow. The coffee is nice and strong. Mixed together, it was delicious! Excellent price at 40,000 d.
Waitress was very pleasant.

The egg coffee served at Little Hanoi was really creamy and delicious. We were also given complimentary tea and little bean cakes to go with the coffee.
The sandwiches were also yummy. Prices were reasonable too.

With our food experts on a moped, we went to Little Hanoi for Egg Coffee. What is Egg Coffee? It's coffee, not with condensed milk, but with a beaten egg. Unimaginable, but very good. You first take the beaten egg with a spoon, then the coffee, and after trying it a few times, you can stir. Apart from that, this coffee is in a beautiful, inconspicuous house, with no tourists, apart from those on the food tour. The mainstream doesn't know this place.

Visited for breakfast before leaving Ho Chi Minh and just wish we went sooner! A must visit. Food was unreal and probably closest we’ve seen to an English / Irish take on breakfast over here yet. Coffee was the best we’ve had too. Staff were very welcoming and couldn’t have done more to ensure we enjoyed our time there.
