Bun thang ba duc My friends and I came there to have dinner last month. It is located on second floor of No 48 Cau Go Street. They serve bun thang which made of chicken, minced pork, young bamboo,… and some organs of a chicken....The quality of the food is nice with reasonable price. The restaurant is pretty small.More

It’s a place that does one thing and they DO IT GREAT. The chicken noodle soup is a nice side-step to chicken pho you’ll see everywhere. My friend and I visited this place and sat upstairs through the back alley. Very charming space with the...classic blue chairs. Would definitely recommendMore

We went here from a recommendation on a travel blog. The tables at the front are full of locals and there is inside seating area down an alleyway and up some stairs. Personally I didn’t like the chicken broth, it seems to be an acquired...taste. Cheap enough though at just 35k dong.More

If you are after some original Hanoi food, you have to get here. Not far from the Hoan Kiem Lake. A bowl of noodles at 40k VND fills you up. More of a street food place but they have limited seating. Highly recommended.

Need to keep yours eyes big for the actual store as it is just a few tables by the street. Look our for the red signboard in yellow words. The owner is very friendly as we do not speak the local language, instead we will...point to the table beside. Good experience eating at the street.More

Hearty clear chicken soup noodle. The broth is really flavorful although it looks bland, add some chili, squeeze some lime and you're good! And like all noodle soup shops (only) in Hanoi, you get a bowl of free fried bread fritter to dip in the...soup. Major yum! Cost 35,000VND per bowlMore

Just located a few steps from the Thang Long water puppet theatre, it is very easy to find. We enjoyed Bun Thang very much, and nice talking to the waiter. Bun Thang is a mixed bowl of soft noodle with some chicken, mushrooms and other...ingredients, the broth is wonderful too.More

Don't just focus on Bun Cha. Do try this as well. They also had bananaleaf-wrapped sour beef, somewhat similar to sausage, which is interesting to dip into a sauce. I personally just recommend the Bun Thang.

We had quite a few days in Hanoi and tried this little street side restaurant after seeing trip advisor recommendation. The many times we passed this place by, it seems to always busy with locals eating on the pavement. The chicken noodle soup was good....We also ordered a dish that the locals next to us ordered, which the lady called "chicken egg". It's basically immature egg mixed with herbs. We loved both dishes and will recommend this little street side restaurant.More
