We were hoping for some vaguely Vietnamese options, but settled for two simple bowls of vegan pasta. We ordered, waited over 30 minutes and finally gave up and walked out.

We were looking for a vegetarian place to eat for dinner in Hanoi, which was easier than in Ho Chi Minh. We found this little gem which was peaceful but almost eerily quiet. The waiter seemed a little overwhelmed and took a while to take...More

After travelling around for last few weeks living on Pho and banh mi I decided to treat myself and get some comfort food. A quick Google search brought up jalus and I am glad I chose this place! The service was fast, staff friendly and...More

I had the omelette and the lasagna. The. omelette was acceptable but the lasagna was really bad. There were three of us and none of us had the stomach to finish it. Unless you are vegan I would recommend to eat somewhere else.

We enjoyed a delicious vegan dinner at Jalus’. Staff was nice, Food was served fast. Unfortunately the food wasn’t hot when it reached our table. Taste and prices made it all up. Be there before 19.30 when all the hip tourists turn in ;-)

Late lunch at Jalus. The clay pot was excellent on a cold day. Very tasty. My husband ate a chickpea burger. It was okay. Nice and calm place. The only minus was that the waiter was more interested on his phone than on clients.

This was really strange! Like other reviewers said the sweet potato fries are awful - cold, hard, cardboardy - really not good. The burgers were also stone cold - no attempt to heat them. We were really confused and asked the other people in there...More

They have a great menu, offering a wide variety of vegan drinks, meals and desserts. The prices are on the high side for Hanoi, but still good value for money. We really enjoyed their gnocchi dish and their spinach pasta dish. Their energy buster smoothie...More

We ate here for lunch one day after trying to find good vegan food for a long time. It did not disappoint! Great service, staff spoke good English. Smoothies and food were delicious, we had chickpea curry and lasagne. Would be a 5/5 but the...More
