Food was amazing. Pork was well marinated and very tender. Sauce for bun Cha was exceptional. Overall a superb meal. Definitely worth a visit. No major hygiene issues despite it being an old shop house. Expect to spend about us$5.

Went to Bún Chả Hương Liên twice. Once with tour group and once with friend. Hanoi beers were about 75 cent each. I had the "Obama special" twice and added the crab roll

This was a restaurant that Anthony Bourdain brought President Obama to. Lots of interesting pictures on the wall commemorating the event. The food is simple, bu delicious.

Little local spot, definitely worth the visit. Had the Obama special and it was delicious, also had a food comma right after because I couldn't get up. Definitely recommend; if its good enough for Obama x Anthony Bourdain; its good enough for me.

The Bun Cha was delicious, but the experience itself is even more shocking when you think that a President was able to go to a such a humble and popular place. It says so much about him.

This was my first time having Bun Cha, so to me it was excellent and it made me want it again, but it was hard to find in south Vietnam. If you’re around go ahead and try it, also get the recommendations of the people...More

They just have one dish and that dish is the "bun cha" which is a grilled pork dish w/ vegetables. Being in a foreign country, I would suggest you stay away from raw vegetables. If you are a vegetarian, this is not a place... More
