This place was OK, food was good, but not excellent. Veranda on the top floor is nice, but nothing specials. Prices are OK, but a little pricy for Hanoi.

Were there with a group of eight. Everybody was happy with his dish . You had different options of lunch sets . Service was fast and excellent. So I can recommend this place. For me too much salmon dishes , you have also meat options...and salads.More

We decided to go to this restaurant as we were a bit tight in time and it was in the middle of our journey. We saw the daily menues (which we had to ask for) and went for those, sharing two different ones. We were...served several dishes, including two great salads, salmon appetizers and dishes, two beef-based main courses and desserts. All of those were tasty and we ended up with full stomachs. Price could be a bit more than the average in Vietnam/Hanoi (Paid 16€ p.p./400k Dongs) but if compared to a European restaurant this exceeded both in quality and price by far. this place is on the third floor of an old french vila in cao ba quat street. so u will go through a small and long alley to the staircase. it's may not be for disable people. the space is not so big but cosy....the staffs are friendly. the plates are well decorated. foods are tasty. the lamp chops and steaks are very nice. salmon related salads are great. However, all the plates seem too oily though. Foods are italian, latino and some how Vietnamese mixed. i did not try any of the large menu of wines. unfortunately about coffee that the shop has only vietnamese coffee. there is no car parking so don't drive thereMore

giving a four star for the friendly waitress who advised us on the menu, so we didnt end up over-ordering. food was great! we went for meat and fish (steak and salmon), and appetiser racquette cheese with cold cut. there was a tad too much...carbs though in terms of potatoes. would prefer a bigger portion of steak and salmon ;)More

We ate dinner at Salmonoid last night. The setting was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the salmon was cooked to order. The whole experience was amazing. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.
