Ray Quan has one of the most unusual setting for a restaurant. Tucked away in a row of shops facing the railroad, it does provide a unique dining experience. I was there for dinner with a friend and we got a table outside - it was really cool to have the train pass by while we were having dinner. The... More

First off, I can only judge the rice wines and ambience -- didn't get any food. 2nd -- If you're an ethical vegetarian, depending on where you fall on the I-don't-eat -faces spectrum, you may want to do some serious soul-searching prior since you'll have no idea if you're drinking wines infused with endangered pangolin tears, or wine gently tea-bagged... I've been to this place many times, especially for birthdays and to introduce new friends to good Vietnamese food and rice wine. The restaurant itself is very cool with an authentic feel and right by the railway tracks and it's really something to see the trains go past just a few feet away. The food is great too - really... The food was good. We got the smoked goose breast as per recommended on this site. The flavoured rice wine has a good kick to it and comes out in a metal bottle that was likely an old bombshell casing. Very cute. We had drinks, got tipsy, enjoyed the music and the trains bustling by. Nothing negative to say about... More

The menu is a bit expensive, but something different. Especially the goose and mango salad are great! Ricewines are nice to try and you have to shot when the train passes by, which is awesome to see. Nice staff and popular with expats.

Great experience. A group of friends sat right on the train tracks and ate a delicious meal. I strongly recommend the smoked goose. Absolutely beautiful.

We came here for the great food and the nice location. It is situated next to the rail station which is nice but the service is very bad and the food even worse. Just go there if you want a drink and for the experience of having a drink while a train is tiding by or else just avoid the... More

Cute quirky place. The food was good and the rice wine was very strong. Order one first and see how you go. They don't taste the best but you can check it off your 'weird food' list. Loved the reggae, very chill atmosphere.

Quirky location. Quirky food. Music. Drinks. All quirky. Sit down and watch the train pass by. Drink too much rice wine and try not to pass out on the tracks. Not much vegetarian options, but what I had was good and flavor some. Be wary other vegetarians, some of their drinks are made with animals, read well before ordering.
