Not sure the accurate operating hours. As the website says that they are open at 0600, I went there for my breakfast but it was closed (It wasn't their off day !) I am not a picky eater but I found this beef pho very...unique and would love to try again. The first sip of the broth brought me much fragrance of ginger or lemon glass. I think it is my first time to take that kind of broth for beef Pho. Right next to the pho section, an auntie is sitting to sell deep fried dough sticks. Although I didn't try them, you might want to :) Beef pho and the sticks look a good harmony. They are located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. You should try. It is pity that they have a siesta time. Hopefully they will be open all day long.More

Awesome Pho ! So wholesome and just the right food for a cold rainy evening ! A tiny place that looks very plain but the pho makes up for everything else !

Soft beef and noodle; sweet soup from beef bones makes you love pho Thin at the first taste. The space inside is old like Hanoi in 1955, friendly like your childhood. Pho Thin is the "must-try" when you come to Hanoi

I was brought to the place by a local guy living in the neighborhood. Once you go over our "Western" bias, you open you nose and mouth and start tasting one of the best Pho in town! Simple mix of herbs, boiled and raw beef...and an egg yalk. Great moments!More

If you are looking for an amazing bowl of pho in an old world environment than this is the place for you. I felt like I was transported back to 1955! I spoke with Thu who I believe is the boss and she told me...that the broth is cooked for 20 hours! Delicious cuts of beef and a super clear broth packed with flavour. Heading back again today!More

Fantastic pho bo: tender beef, fresh noodles, aromatic vegetables and the best broth! Try it with the chili-garlic vinegar on the tables. Highly recommend!

My colleague took me here for breakfast on my last day in Hanoi, on his bike at 7am. Great taste n cost 50k dong, but only beef pho here! Much much better than the street side pho stall nxt to my hotel which cost 40k....If u eat beef, do come here. Easy to find! Thereafter, my colleague took me for black coffee at a small cafe before we head back to work.More

We went to Vietnam in September 2019 and ate at this restaurant. The pho was amazing! The flavor was incredible and the meat was so interesting. We watched the chef make these interesting pounded ground meat "patties" and put them in the soup. Definitely the...most meat we had in any pho we ate in Vietnam. I was having trouble using chopsticks and one of the employees suggested an easier way to use them. Friendly employees and friendly people! Would definitely go back if I'm ever in Hanoi again.More

Recommended by hotel but we weren’t sure since it’s inside an alley and they literally have 1 long table. Not to mention we waited an hour for them to open as they open at 6pm and not 5 as stated. Well worth it. Northern style...pho and it was wonderful. Very tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Healthy portions also (for American standards at least). High recommended. We might go againMore

This shop seems like a good representation of northern style pho. The broth is clear and light and tastes mainly just of beef and salt and msg. If you want chilies or lime or any kind of depth of flavor in the soup, you'll have...to add it yourself. Not my favorite style, but that's probably typical for pho in northern Vietnam. Looking forward to trying the variation down south.More

Unexpectedly good. Was just told by a local (tour guide) to go and eat here. I was not disappointed. Soup tastes good. The beef is generous for a standard size order. Just be prepared coz the place is very simple (I think it’s situated in...an alley). Will be back!More

Tucked in an alleyway-like location, you can easily miss it, if not for the prominent sign board. It is almost directly opposite the Ngoc Son temple entrance. It is small establishment and seats are very limited. There's no airconditioning but the fans kept us reasonably...cooled. The service is surprisingly very welcoming and good. A member of the staff even helped rearranged seating with other patrons for our group of 5 when we walked in for dinner. They speak limited English but the menu is clear enough to get us what we want. The order came pretty quick. The entire bowl was covered with chopped greens, while the soup tasted 'clean' and 'clear'. The amount of beef was reasonable and it was delicious, tender with equal portions of fatty & collagenous parts. The unique extra are minced-beef balls which also tasted good.More

Very delicious and authentic beef pho. The jumbo (basically standard with extra serving of beef slices) is a really hearty bowl of pho for those with heartier appetite for beef. Standard works well too! This hole in the wall joint is a must-check-in place for...everyone who wants a good bowl of pho with an added authentic experience of sitting along the ONLY long table and watching the owners making it right before you.More
