Nice small but very clean restaurant's the food was very tasty and cheap compared with other restaurants in the area. Very local cuisine and they have some English speaking waiters

I really like to enjoy meal here. All foods are famous-street-foods of HaiPhong. Taste is delicious with nice decoration. Variety selections are from low to high prices and suitable for slight to main meal, for single to family with kids. Restaurant is quite clean with feeling cozy. Highly recommended for family with kids because restaurant has Air Con and of course, that is the best thing we wish in summer of Vietnam :)

They tried so hard to create the flavor of Hai Phong food but I can tell that they didn't successful on doing that although they have many customers. I had lunch there sometimes and I know the original flavor so I'm sure that it was not original taste of Hai Phong food. From the beginning, they brought out chilly sauce which they named " Chiu Truong" but actually it was named "Chi chuong". Recently, I saw they untagged the spices and which was quite ok. I tried Banh da cua An Bien. The taste was quite ok. It should be some trace of crabs there but there was nothing show that the broth was made from crabs. Banh Da stuck together, I'm sure they didn't put the broth in quick enough to prevent it from sticking together. They used the fat part of meat in a wrong way. Cut it small and let it stay white like some kind of vegetables but the taste was awful, they should try to fry it until it turns into dark yellow. For drink, I tried Daisy tea which contained no tea at all. The right way to make it is to add some green tea and boil together with daisy. The drink tasted like water and with smell of daisy. It needed more strong taste and more sugar or syrup with a kumquat. Staff was nice and friendly

I am a regular customer of this store. Simple and cozy ambience. Really nice food. Recommendation: green glass jelly in soya milk, crab noodle, banh mi hai phong....everything in the menu is delicious basically. Some people might complain yhe food taste simple or blant but i love it. Evrything taste fresh and clean. Noted: I am a local of Hanoi so trust me ;)

I come with my Japanese friend and we all love this place. She really love the noodle and the green jelly. We both agreed that we will come back to eat more ^^

Definitely worth finding this place. Food was great and reasonably priced. Both local and foreign tourists were dining the night we went. We’ll go back during our stay.

Hanoi has a special spirit which is a combination of the wounds of history and an extremely elegant lifestyle where you can feel and discover it when you are driven into the city by only people from Hanoi.
My pleasure last evening was at this place named An Bien Restaurant where you feel this great atmosphere.
Food was excellent and all specialities from HaiPhong. I really enjoy my time in this nice restaurant that I will recommend to all travelers to Hanoi.

I stumbled upon An Bien walking around and decided to try it. I did not regret taking a chance! I ordered the grilled mackerel and the sea crab spring roll. I enjoyed the spring roll a lot but the mackerel is so sumptuous! The combination of the fish with the carrots and pineapple with the basil in the wrap just made the meal so yummy. I could go on and on but you'd just have to try it. It didn't hurt that the owner was very attentive and answered a lot of questions I had regarding Hanoi, things to see, tours, other food, coffee etc.

Very good quality vietnamese food. A bit more expensive than regular meals in Hanoi but higher quality as well. Great option to shift from the hussle of street food.

We ate the crab soup and The mixed skewers. It was very good!
There is a good menu in which all The dishes are explained.
They can speak english and were very friendly.

So good! You have to try the Crab Soup Hot Pot . You cook it yourself on a burner and share it with family. It's pork, fish, shoots, baby spinach. Dining experience not just food!

This restaurant was around the corner from where we stayed, and their fresh spring rolls and sea crab spring rolls were wonderful. We went back twice for their vanilla ice cream with coconut!
