I spent several afternoons at Lucky Day. They were located across the street from my home base hotel in Hanoi, Spring Flower Hotel. I didn't eat there but had afternoon beer with grandpa and many wonderful conversations with the granddaughter Ahn, who speaks English. This is a completely family run business .I see that it has bad reviews. It's unorganized,... More

Gave this place a couple of try's but it was very slow both times and the food average. Best part of the restaurant is you can overlook the street and watch the chaos below. Look elsewhere.

We went five people to Lucky Day and Waited for an hour till we get all the dishes. And it didn't taste that good that it will be worth it.. I did like the letters on the tables from other tourist.

I visited here recently with my friend. We were taken upstairs and shown to a table that overlooked the chaos of the street below. The waiter put on some music and brought a fan over to us. We ordered 2 pizzas. The music was the same song played on repeat. The food took 45 minutes to arrive and we were... More

We spent two excellent evenings in this restaurant where music and beers are as excellent as the staff kindness. Very nice view on the street from the first floor balcony. Good compromise price quality on food also.

I had not read any reviews before visiting this place. We just stumbled across it on our way back from the Night Market to our hotel. Restaurant seating is upstairs which was a little challenging, although not impossible, for my elderly mother with limited mobility. There is however a nice seating area on a balcony overlooking the street. We ordered... More

We went here 4 or 5 times during our week in Hanoi. You can sit upstairs on the balcony and escape the chaos below. It's a great spot for having a beer and people watching. I tried a few different things on the menu - my recommendation is the Bun Bo Nam Bo- southern fried noodles. It was different to... More

It's relatively cheap, clean and tasty. If you're following the Lonely Planet walking tour, this is just off the path in an area without many food choices. It's nothing to get excited about, but it does the job.

We have been to this place multiple times because of one reason: the seafood noodles. Seriously, if you're into squid and whatnot, try them. We also had the BLT which was not so good. Especially the fries were not to our liking. Apart from all that the waiter speaks pretty good English. The decor can be called interesting and the... More
