Agreeing with many of the reviews here: Price and quality do definitely not match: Very pricey but below average quality of the food, both regarding ingredients and preparation

Worst food I ever tasted while traveling. Not a French. A steak, pasta, and salmon cost us almost 50 bucks, but I would not pay 5 dollars for this quality. Total ripoff.

We showed up at 8 pm and the staff was so welcoming. The manager remembered our friends who had dined at Au Delice the previous night. We sat out on the upstairs terrace even though it was a bit cool that night. Our friends ordered from the 3 course prix fixe menu while two of us ordered separate entrees. Our... More

A number of us on tour stopped for dinner - what a mistake. Onion soup was cold, we sent it back, second try was just warm and tasted nothing like what we expect - it was as if the chef had no idea how to make french onion soup. The rest of the meal wasn't any better. The restaurant needs... More

Quite disappointed with the quality of food we received here, especially with the pretty expensive price tags. We ordered the duck confit and it was quite bad - dry and bland. So was the salad and potato that came with it. The onion soup and escargots which we ordered were okay. Nothing to rave about, just okay. Better than the... More

We used this restaurant very often a few years ago. Its set lunch (3 course) menu was good value for money, at about VND 150,000. Prices have gone up, without noticeable change in quality. It seems to have got stuck in a rut, whilst the rest of Hanoi is moving ahead. Service has become very average.

Ive been told that this place has the nicest cold cut in Hanoi as all are imported ưith premium quality. This is so true, I tried some ham, foie gras and everything is great and the price is reasonable.

Passin by this restaurant so many times and finally we decided to try. Just because we have seen that it's always packed so we are very curious about the food here. First impressions: cozy, simple yet nice. Menu wise: not so bad. But everything turned out bot the way we expected it to be. I ordered beef carpaccio, asparagus crap... More

We just had dinner at this French Restaurant last Christmas and it was unforgettable experience. We sat opposite to Ham Long Cathedral where we could enjoy their christmas activities (we sat on the first floor). The price is reasonable though the food still has some Vietnamese taste. We did see the Special Christmas Menu but we did not chose it... More

I love the terrace at Au Delice and would definitely recommend sitting there with a bottle of wine. I didn't find the food to be that impressive. The salmon salad was okay but the vegetarian pasta was very bland.

Thank flobo5
