To start, the location is perfect. Secondly the service was nothing short of spectacularly pleasing, and of course, the food was great as well!

We dined twice at the Yin & Yan rush hour and we were always very well received by a young, smiling and dynamic. The choice of dishes offered, the quality of food homemade complement the good impression we left this restaurant; all for a very reasonable sum in respect of what we reveled :-)!

We went to Yin Yang for dinner last week and ordered a papaya salad and two "hot pot" dishes (Meet steamed in a bowl)includong the local special dish (pork with herbs). Staff was nice and food was fresh. Probably a bit expensive for what you get and compared to Hanoi standards. The dishes were ok, (not unforgettable but good). Atmosphere... More

The food was very good, loved the Hanoi spring rolls. Service was great. The mojitos were excellent and well worth stopping in for.

We came here on the recommendation of our tour guide. It was day 10 of our trip and our first night in hanoi and we couldn't be bothered to check trip advisor or our guide books. I'm glad we didn't as the reviews I've read since on TA are a little mixed. This was one of our favourite meals of... More

In the Old Quarter, this was a nice oasis amidst the outdoor eateries. Good food, freshly blended drinks, modest English speaking staff. We got there early, and it filled up; later diners were asked if they had reservations. Only drawback is the bathroom is up very steep stairs, which may be hard for some to climb.

After a long flight we were looking for somewhere nearby to start our Vietnam food experience. Following on from good recommendations we chose Yin & Yang. The Bun Cha was great, and I would also recommend the beef rice paper rolls. Restaurant was clean and service good.

Quite cozy restaurant with standard vietnamese dishes. English speaking friendly staff. Good restaurant to start to get aquainted to vietnamese food in Hanoi Old town.
