We came for dinner and were offered outdoor seating because the dining room was full. We loved the view from the top floor of Hoan Kiem lake alfresco. They have the best spring rolls. The house wine was good. The rest is the main dishes western and Viet were just okay. The bill for 4 main dishes, 1 appetizer, 2... More

We are staying at this hotel and the food was beautiful I can recommend the egg plant dishes. You can visit with confidence and the prices are very reasonable. They also have an excellent view over Hanoi

My family of five were there on Christmas for lunch. Though we were late, the service personnel still serve us with a smile. The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. We enjoyed our food thoroughly and hope to return in the near future.

Honestly we preferred the more authentic street food BUT the views, atmosphere and excellent service added to a superb overall experience.

Great food, excellent service, more than fair prices (2 starters, 2 steak mains + sideorder, 2 small desserts, 1 bottle of red: 1,7 mio. vd). But do book a table, its a small place on 12th floor.

Very small restaurant so booking essential. Good views from all tables although Hanoi is fairly low rise and night time view not as dramatic as some cities. Food of good quality and value

Beautiful view. Sit inside or on the open terrace. Great selection of Vietnamese food together with western choices. A bit pricy but best option for a romantic dinner.

Located on the top floor of Hanoi La Siesta Diamond hotel, the Gourmet Corner restaurant boast the finest view of Hanoi from the 12th floor, overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake, the Red River and the ever-growing skyline of Hanoi. The Gourmet Corner food menu is the combination of Vietnamese and some Western favorites. Our Vietnamese food options mostly are the dishes from the North. In northern Vietnam, a colder climate limits the production and availability of spices. As a result, the foods are often less spicy than those in other regions, especially the middle part of Vietnam. Black pepper is used in place of chili as the most popular ingredient to produce spicy flavors. Also, coriander is used commonly in most dishes. In general, northern Vietnamese cuisine is not bold in any particular taste - sweet, salty, spicy, bitter, or sour. Most northern Vietnamese foods feature light and balanced flavors that result from subtle combinations of many different flavoring ingredients.
