If you live overseas and are familiar with phở, I'm sure the version you have had is from Southern Vietnam. I've tried Northern pho before in Saigon, but nothing in comparison to Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su. We ordered the special beef pho, with different...cuts of meat, delicious and heart warming broth, tonnes of spring onions, corianders; and balanced with a squeeze of lemon and chilli sauce. I ordered extra quẩy, or deep fried dough, and it was perfect. This is one of the best bowls of pho I've ever tasted.More

“The best Pho in Hanoi!”, they said. Pho originated in Hanoi.. It is a breakfast food, but you can eat whenever you like, because it’s also good for lunch or dinner. YUMMY! Pho 10 is open from 6 AM, and it’s soooooo goood and cheappp!...They served the food soooo fast! This restaurant is not proper for relax for a while with friends. They will tidy up your bowl after you finished. You should pay right after you are done, because the queuing will be long.. For the taste, I always love food with garlic and orange family (lime/lemon/baby orange), and Pho 10 provided EXTRA garlic and lime. OMGGGG.. no words needed.More

We were brought here by some Vietnamese friends who told us it was the best Pho in Hanoi. They were right, it really was exceptional. Not a place for a quiet dinner, this is a busy, bustling restaurant full of diners. Truly outstanding, a real...eating experience, food at its very best.More

We tried this place for breakfast and thought it was great! We ordered the Tai Chin - half done and well done beef Pho. You can spice it up just how you like it with the condiments on the table. The food comes out super...quick and is such a cheap meal. Hard to not like it!More

This is not that kind of place where you could sit for a while and chat with friends. It's more like a small bistro - you just eat and then go. But, so far the best Pho I ever had! If you are in Hanoi...you must go there. I'm truly glad that I found this place.More

Recommended by my guides. Overall, quite good but price has risen to 60-70k dong. Mostly tourists here. I believe there are better places around.

Many Hanoian's will know Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su and there is a large sign at the front that declares this is the real Pho10. Like anything in VN, if it is any good it will be copied and resold as the real thing. A...compliment in a way. The thing is with Pho is that the freshly made noodles are the core ingredient (pho noodles is what gives the dish its name) but the broth itself is extremely important and only the dedicated Pho restaurants will have the large vats to boil down the beef stock for 24 hrs or so. Expensive at 65k a plate and they only do Pho Bo (beef) but they really heap on the meat and the broth is delicious. If you have not sampled "real" pho, you could do a lot worse than this place. As an aside, there is a little coffee shop across the road and if the place is packed or you feel like a coffee, you can order the Pho and they will bring it across the street to the coffee shop.More

Walked past the restaurant and there were no Q so decided to have a try. Average pho, will not visit if there is a line waiting. Service wise, almost non existence.

Went to Pho 10 as part of a cyclo tour early morning. Stopped in for breakfast and it was excellent. Very fresh and tasty. We were the only westerners in the place when we were there at about 7:30 am.

Maybe not the best pho in Hanoi, but the best pho I had after 20 days touring through Vietnam. This place came as a recommendation to me from a friend who lived in the "Old Quarter" in Hanoi for 6 months, as a crazy foody,...I couldn't not try it ! When I arrived there was a queue out the door ! It was only a short wait before entering into this busy world of pho crazed people. The tables are a short turn around, so even if you turn up and it is busy, its only a short wait. If you like pho and you're in Hanoi, you had better add this place to your list of things to do !!More
