Great place to try Pho for the first time. We had the “well done beef” version. No line at about 1 PM on a Wed for us. (Several locations. One one we went to was at Ly Quoc Su.

This place is busy for good reason: they do Hanoi pho bo (beef) and do it well. The broth is complex and full of flavour: we got the beef special so it was multiple cuts of beef. Service is prompt, good value for money, and...worth queuing for. And don't forget a side of their excellent chao quay for dunking.More

Went on a Saturday morning. Place was packed and I was just able to squeeze into a table. Ordered the tai chin (half done with well done beef). The broth had a strong fish sauce taste, which was fine with me but might be an...issue for others. Make no mistake while Vietnamese food makes generous use of fish sauce but it was more apparent here compared to other pho places I'd been. I preferred the half done beef pieces compared to the well done ones. Perhaps will just order the half done next time. Don't expect much from the service as they go for volume here as the price is quite low so they will clear your bowl as soon as they see you are done. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Be prepared to share a table.More

As others have said, really amazing pho at a decent price. Lots of food and so tasty, but the service is basically non existent. They want you in and out with no welcome and no smile.

Just had the most delicious bowl of Phu (beef noodle soup) Great value & very tasty. Nothing more to say. Fast service and friendly staff - always packed and a queue for tables.

Let me start by saying the Pho was awesome. I loved the part that the menu is like 1page long SO they specialize in what they offer thats awesome. We had the beef pho, the well done option and loved it. We asked for extra...chillies and that made it more yummy. Now the service well don't expect much as the cost is low and servers are clearly not happy to be there serving. I saw 2 CLEANING their ears with tissues then picked up plates and served tables so I say carry your disinfectant swipes. Grab a local beer njy your pho.More

Great price for a huge serving. The condiments on the tables were fresh and plentiful. We came back to Pho 10 again because we could not stop thinking about it. Some of the best pho we had on our trip. The large tables made it...easy to socialize with others,More

If you live overseas and are familiar with phở, I'm sure the version you have had is from Southern Vietnam. I've tried Northern pho before in Saigon, but nothing in comparison to Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su. We ordered the special beef pho, with different...cuts of meat, delicious and heart warming broth, tonnes of spring onions, corianders; and balanced with a squeeze of lemon and chilli sauce. I ordered extra quẩy, or deep fried dough, and it was perfect. This is one of the best bowls of pho I've ever tasted.More

“The best Pho in Hanoi!”, they said. Pho originated in Hanoi.. It is a breakfast food, but you can eat whenever you like, because it’s also good for lunch or dinner. YUMMY! Pho 10 is open from 6 AM, and it’s soooooo goood and cheappp!...They served the food soooo fast! This restaurant is not proper for relax for a while with friends. They will tidy up your bowl after you finished. You should pay right after you are done, because the queuing will be long.. For the taste, I always love food with garlic and orange family (lime/lemon/baby orange), and Pho 10 provided EXTRA garlic and lime. OMGGGG.. no words needed.More

We were brought here by some Vietnamese friends who told us it was the best Pho in Hanoi. They were right, it really was exceptional. Not a place for a quiet dinner, this is a busy, bustling restaurant full of diners. Truly outstanding, a real...eating experience, food at its very best.More

We tried this place for breakfast and thought it was great! We ordered the Tai Chin - half done and well done beef Pho. You can spice it up just how you like it with the condiments on the table. The food comes out super...quick and is such a cheap meal. Hard to not like it!More

This is not that kind of place where you could sit for a while and chat with friends. It's more like a small bistro - you just eat and then go. But, so far the best Pho I ever had! If you are in Hanoi...you must go there. I'm truly glad that I found this place.More

Recommended by my guides. Overall, quite good but price has risen to 60-70k dong. Mostly tourists here. I believe there are better places around.

Many Hanoian's will know Pho 10 Ly Quoc Su and there is a large sign at the front that declares this is the real Pho10. Like anything in VN, if it is any good it will be copied and resold as the real thing. A...compliment in a way. The thing is with Pho is that the freshly made noodles are the core ingredient (pho noodles is what gives the dish its name) but the broth itself is extremely important and only the dedicated Pho restaurants will have the large vats to boil down the beef stock for 24 hrs or so. Expensive at 65k a plate and they only do Pho Bo (beef) but they really heap on the meat and the broth is delicious. If you have not sampled "real" pho, you could do a lot worse than this place. As an aside, there is a little coffee shop across the road and if the place is packed or you feel like a coffee, you can order the Pho and they will bring it across the street to the coffee shop.More

It is beef. For chicken, you need to look for Pho Ga.
