Our hotel recomended us this place. It is very local, and the food is fantastic! There are only two opcions, so they are speciallized in what they offer! Its delicious!! A must eat in Hanoi!

Love these kind of restaurants that have their specialty! It was tasty, clean, fast and filling :) definitely would go back again. It's nice for lunch. We only tried the bun bo nam bo (60k VND), but it was good.

I've been Southern of Viet Nam for 12 years and I like the flavour of food there - when I came back HN for living and working - I really want to go somewhere to get the same flavour but everything 's not enough !!!

The palce is very small, tiny and not really clean. People there were not as friendly as they should be.

Great place for a quick noodle bowl. Only a few things on the menu and mostly local folks on their lunch break. Fast and friendly service.

We came here twice. First for dinner, we found it lacked the flavour we were expecting and the beef was a bit on the chewy side (so we thought). Two days later, as part of a private tour, we ended up back here for lunch and the meal was almost totally different. Really good flavour and cooked perfectly. Maybe our... More

Description
Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.
