About
Bun bo Nam Bo is marinating the beef, then comes making 'nuoc cham' and the pickled vegetables (shredded carrot and papaya). The pickled vegies is crispy, a little sour and a little sweet, which even makes me eat two bowls of the noodle at once. Remember to pickle the carrot (and papaya first, before marinating the beef) since it takes at least 1 hour to get a good flavor on the carrot.

We tried the typical Bun Bo Nam Bo - beef salad with noodles and peanuts. It was absolutely delicious. Interior is normal for the most Viet restaurants in this part of Hanoi but the food was amazing.

Great location. Below mediocre food. Exceptionally terrible service. Unless you have no idea what Vietnamese food is supposed to taste like, do not go here. Your disappointment is guaranteed.

Decided to visit the place after a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. Great food and excellent value for money. One of the best meals we had in Hanoi.

After reading so many rave reviews, decide I had to give it a try, it’s a short 10 min walk from my hotel O majestic gallery. We went quite late around 9.30pm, wasn’t crowded and food came within 5 mins. Noodles was a refreshing change...More

Thanks to this restaurant, we were able to eat local Vietnamese food in a vegetarian form. The dish we ate was absolutely delicious.

To the best of my knowledge, they will be open. There were no signs announcing they would be closed for Tet.
