Fanny Ice Cream was difficult to find, and several printed maps, plus a guidebook, plus some people in a tourist information booth, indicated that it was near Hoan Kiem Lake. I don't know if or when it moved, but eventually, we asked a doorman at Apricot Hotel, who pointed us in the right direction, though the ice cream shop is... More

Came here for dessert- it was awesome. Be warned that the offered desserts (aside from scoops of ice cream) are very decadent, so don't come on a full stomach! Fun menu with lots of options to fit everyone.

Like almost every tourist in Hanoi with children, I looked for ''best ice cream in Hanoi'' and Fanny came at the top. The ice-cream menu is quite impressive (we took pictures of it!), but the prices are so expensive that it is not the place you will want to return often. Great and unusual ice-cream combinations. However, the waiters are... More

Hello We went to this place on Sunday evening. We thought the place was closed because no lights outside. There was few Viet families with kids and we ordered sherbets. There are as usual excellent. For French readers the sherbets are same tasty as Bertillon sherbets. There are pricey because real fruits are here and no preservatives and on top... More

We had fundo plate with fruit, waffels, chocolate fondu and lots of assorted icecream balls. The quality of the ice cream is above avarage in Hanoi

Ice cream was great but not fruits I think you should order ice cream (different kinds of ice cream like mixed or set; combo) but not anything with fruits. Because I feel like they're not fresh at all. Staffs are ok, some friendly some not. Overall, this is just a place for ice-cream that's all, drinks are just so so!

There are a variety of flavors of ice cream. You can also get some drinks with ice cream and liqueurs. Apparently Fanny's ice cream has moved from closer to the lake; we found it on a road south west of the Hoan Kiem lake. There are a few set items which are cheaper than if you just buy one scoop... Who doesn't like ice cream, kids absolutely loved it as did the adults. Some great flavors plus you have access to the travel shop and coffee shop onsite.
