We visited on a Wednesday night to celebrate an anniversary - it was quite quiet and felt more appropriate for a business meeting. Food was good but overpriced when compared to alternatives.

I did not have it as the one to visit and the hotel concierge send me there since we were hungry snd was closed to Sofitel Metropole. What a surprise, a colonial mansion, excellent service, a girl playing piano, food = 10, I had the chance of tasting ( I drunk 2 glasses) o Vietnamese white wine and WAS VERY... More

Amazing first meal in Hanoi. Food so delicately flavoured - must take hours to prepare and seconds to cook. Building looks a bit dated and several people came in - looked around and left but they were missing an absolute treat. Had the Tasting Menu 1 and Vietnam white (which was surprisingly good).

Unlike others reviewers we did not book just turn up and they had free seats so we eat there we had cocktails to begin with whilst looking at the menu (150k)... More

It was our first night in Vietnam and we were staying in the Sofitel, so it was an obvious decision to book Ly Club as it was very close. We were very pleased we'd made that decision as everything about our dinner was excellent...the venue..the location..the food..the service etc.. The food was outstanding, based on vietnamese classics but all presented... More

The exterior of the restaurant is authentic and French colonial. The interior is rather dark and could have some renovation. The menu is large and we went for the Vietnamese specialities and then mainly fish. The rolls were Ok,so was the salad. Also the fish with ginger and the shrimps were very tasteful, although the presentation was simple .Good restaurant but not excellent.Good wine... More

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:00pm on a weekday without reservations. A musician playing an Asian lute was in the main foyer of the restaurant. The restaurant was moderately busy at that time and we were seated immediately. The wait staff were polite and attentive. Service was good but somewhat casual. Menu selection was divided into Vietnamese and French... More

This restaurant ticked all the right boxes: Ambiance was superb, music by young girl playing sitar type instrument, waiters and waitresses most helpful and friendly, food very very tasty and beautifully presented and served to the whole table together, chairs comfy.
